Well made; great upgrade; easy install
Feels well made. Instructions were very clear and installation was simple and fast, with no leaks at any fittings. All supplies (including extra small parts) and tools (except an adjustable wrench) were included. I recommend backing out the 2 set screws slightly on the diverter before threading it on the shower pipe coming out of the wall to ensure no damage to the pipe’s threads. The long hose for the hand held head will allow its use while someone is sitting on the bench seat (see photos) and is also handy for rinsing the walls and floors when cleaning the tub or shower enclosure. My shower enclosures had a very low clearance between the diverter on this product and the enclosure’s ceiling, but the angle on the cradle for the hand held head is easily adjustable to clear the low ceiling. I installed 2 of these in a beach rental condo to replace the existing fixed shower heads and am sure renters (as well as us) will appreciate the upgrade.

IN-DEPTH HONEST REVIEW
If you have ever read my reviews, then you know I will and have scrutinized and put products to my tests, but I usually do my reviews a couple weeks into my purchase unless it’s a common item. First off, when I picked up the box at my front door, I swear it was not what I expected as it had some serious weight to it. It comes brown boxed with a very nice printed on label, with an attention grabbing slogan inside the lid. Let’s just say when they built this product, they meant business. Each piece is contained inside of a drawstring lined bag. The main shower head is solid metal, with micro silicon rubber jets. It’s got such a reflective property to it your could use it as a mirror, the selector knob acts as if it’s got a bearing with a positive click selection for both the wand and shower head or individually. The logo is laser etched into the selector valve as well. The wand is something I would carry with me if I wanted to protect myself against shower predators! It’s solid with a standard pressure, a high pressure, and a mist type of selection for water. I opted for the 108” wand hose as an extra part as well. Added some teflon tape to the wall pipe and tightened it down, don’t over tighten, it’s not needed. Just hand tighten the set screws, don’t over tighten them. Add the shower head first, then the supply line to the tap and then connect the supply line to the wand, hand tighten that part as well. There are dual seals for the wand one inside the connector and one on the wand. The hose is very flexible and covered in a metal housing. After it’s all installed, run it for about 2 minutes to clear out the lines, yes you will see some discolored water, but you will also see this when you change out fridge water filters and purge the lines. I had to take a shower just to try it out and I was quite surprised at the pressure. I have been shopping at the big box stores to actually see what was the best. ALL of them were plastic or had plastic parts. This one is all metal and based on my experience of having an all metal one many years back, this will be a top winner. Hammerhead thought this out and delivered an outstanding product. I was skeptical at first, but I watched the reviews increase and for a majority they all agreed that this is a well made product. We all know that the water the comes into our home, does eventually cause sediment build up and it make the water pressure drop, and damages the shower heads from clogging. Since this is metal, and parts can be replaced I see it working well into the future. My last shower head only lasted about 2 years. So let’s see what this one will do. You do get extra washer seals, rubber jets, teflon tape, an Allan key, and warranty cards. I installed mine after I brought it in the house. I have been comparing many of them including the big names over priced companies which still make them plastic. I will post an update to see how well it’s holding up. But for now, I will support their company. No, I didn’t get this as a promo, or ask to write about my experience. But I support great products and my reviews are up front and honest. Thanks hammerhead!!!!

Best Shower Head Ever!
HammerHead wildly exceeded expectations! We wanted a large shower head with an auxiliary wand attachment. FIrst up was Delta, about $140, plastic, performed okay, then the wand cradle broke. Poor design. Returned it and bought Moen, $125, plastic, tough to install. Plastic and rubber washers poor quality, ended up leaking at the shower arm and then the diverter failed so that head or wand were no longer independent. Returned to Home Depot. Researched online and found HammerHead. We purchased this unit and a shower arm. When they arrived, I was immediately impressed by the weight, feel and quality of the manufacturing. Installation instructions were simple - I followed them exactly, even making sure I wrapped threads exactly 3-4 times with plumber's tape. Unlike with the other brands, there was no fiddling around trying to get the parts to thread on correctly or finding the exact right amount of torque to eliminate leaks. Spare washers and parts were even included. HammerHead performed flawlessly from first use, and after a few weeks, we've realized a new level of shower happiness! The volume of water flow is better, the controls click nicely and the diverter is sure and exact. I thought I would have to spend $400-500 for a proper, quality shower head. For under $250 for both head unit and arm, we got premium quality and performance. We'll be buying a shower head for our other bath, and when the time comes to retile, the mixing valves and trim kits. I didn't know you could buy quality fixtures made of stainless steel and brass without emptying the wallet. Thanks, HammerHead.

Good quality.
Great quality, easy to use and install. Love the steel construction. Good pressure. The only thing I don't like is the shower head is sooo big & mirror-like, It always startles me when I see myself wet & nakey.

EXCELLENT SHOWER HEAD
We are delighted with this Hammerhead shower head. The unit is solidly made with a good "heft" to it, reflecting its all metal construction; and yet the design of the handle of hand-held head makes it feel light and balanced in the hand. The water flow is excellent, with great pressure output (our house water pressure is set to range from 50psi to 70psi) in both the large 8" head and in all three settings of the hand-held head. The large shower head remains n position where set, yet swivels at the touch of a finger. It's worth the extra $100 cost above the "plastic" units.

Needs Shutoff Valve
Neither showerhead nor handheld come with shut off valves. My husband’s hip broke and he sits to shower. Having water running, he cannot reach faucet, the whole time he is washing is such a waste of water. We love it is all metal, seems excellent quality, its easy installation, its looks. But I had to put a shut off on, at least, the handheld.

100% Satisfied!
This is a well made and sturdy product that was easy to install and works better than I expected, even after readingso many positive reviews. The packaging it came in was even top notch. I've been hanging on to an older shower head that was never flow restricted because my past attempts to switch were completely disappointing in terms of the pressure being so bad. I had to switch to something with a wand because my partner was having a knee replaced and needed to use a shower chair for a while. I assumed I would want to switch back to the old one again at some point, but I don't think I will after using it these past few weeks. Both shower heads have plenty of water pressure individually, so I haven't felt the need to use both at once, although it's nice to have the option. We just had a weekend visitor that lives in a house with flow restricted shower heads and she absolutely loved everything about it. She felt the need to apologize for taking a longer shower than usual because it was so enjoyable she didn't want it to end. Bonus that the handheld one extends far enough in a normal sized tub to rinse the tile, shower curtain liner and tub when cleaning. No more filling pitchers with water to do that, and a lot less chance of splashing the floor.

Highly recommend - great product & easy install
I am not easy to impress and experience has led me, as a consumer, to set my expectations low, but I have to share that this was THE BEST purchase I’ve ever made. The product arrived in pristine condition, no scratches or manufacturing defects - shiny and beautiful. The parts were all carefully and thoughtfully wrapped and labeled. All of the parts were in the box, plus extras (take note IKEA) and the included instructions could not have been more clear. I installed the product in 15 minutes and used it right after. The shower head is amazing - a broad reach so your front isn’t cold while your back is facing the shower head and vice versa, and the hand held device has different settings including a STRONG jet setting that made cleaning the shower after use, a breeze. I highly recommend this product and this company, and will be a customer for life after this amazing experience!
