Fantastic buy highly recommend
We don’t even have the Velcro installed around it so it’s just sitting on the frame around the attic stairs and that alone has helped so much. the temperature difference when going in the attic is SIGNIFICANT once I remove the cover to get further into the attic. Every winter we used to have a super cold hallway due to the poor attic door insulation, this has fixed that entirelyIt’s like a warm cocoon until I go further in the attic and the chill is always surprising when I remove the cover10/10 recommend

Worth the Extra Money
As I searched for an attic tent this was not the cheap option from a price standpoint. I read a review that said it was worth the money. I decided to go with this because you only need one attic tent, so OK to spend a little more. I am very pleased with this purchase. The attic tent fits perfectly and is a quick install with a staple gun. The insulation seal over our attic door is great. As soon as I got the tent I set it up on the floor with the bottom flange flared out the way it installs. I did not have time to install it until a week later. I found setting it up on the floor like that made my install much faster than if I tried to do it right out of the shipping box.

Energy saver. Must have for any house.
What a difference in temperature in the second floor. Last year, when the temperature rose outdoors, our second floor didn’t feel like it would cool down. With this installed, the second floor feels much cooler.

Best stair cover
I obtained estimates for insulating my entire attic. All estimates mentioned an attic door blanket or cover. I decided to buy my own because I didn’t want just any old one. When I told my contractor he assumed I got a cheap one. Was he wrong. Great sturdy sides to use with my blown in insulation. No drafts in my hallway!!!

Best attic stair cover
I am a professional attic insulation contractor. The attic tent brand is the best. I have used several different amazon covers but these are the best. Here’s why. The zipper is much better on the attic tent. I used to give the cheaper off brand ones away but the material is flimsy and the zippers won’t last. The material is also thicker so you will notice a measurable difference over other brands. I used a digital infrared thermometer and found 10 degree difference. If a customer wants an attic staircase cover, I will insist on the attic tent brand. They are all easy to instal but if your going to do something, do it right. Cons, they aren’t cheap and in my opinion are overpriced. It’s a fabric cover with a zipper and some sewing not a space shuttle heat shield.

Quality product for good insulation
Had pull down stairs to attic in the closet, which leaked lots of cold air. We are in our 80s and were able to install the attic tent ourselves. Very good quality and made a noticeable difference immediately.

More espensive than other tents out there but I think it's worth it.
Resently installed one of these tents at the top of my daughters house pull down stairs. Pretty straightforward to install with a staple gun. The tent is very rigid, i.e., the top and sides to not sag. I think I made the right decision to spend the extra money for a well made unit.

Easy to install and does a good job of sealing the attic space off.
Installation of this product was pretty straightforward. I did install a 2x6 edge around the entry as a base to staple the tent to. Then used the great stuff foam to seal the edging.Noticeably much cooler temperature between the attic and under the tent.We also bought this because our main return for the hvac is right next to the attic door so prior to installtion,we could see air being pulled from around the attic door edges by using a small strip of tissue as a test. Now there is none so confident the attic is sealed off well.
