The best capped ballpoint pen out on market. It's affordable and well built. The ink is quick drying. I'm a lefty and I haven't experienced any smearing. Overall, the ballpoint ink delivery is very smooth and ink comes out clean with no blotching. This a great everyday use pen if you don't mind capped style pens.

Purchased these in August and it is currently November 2025. These pens are fabulous. They write very smoothly, no skipping, ink supply is about the length of the outer barrel; giving long writing abilities. good price for 15 pens. Needed a red pen that looked like red ink when written with, Got it! Not scratchy like some fine points, very smooth, No ink blobs of paper. The clip on cap is sturdy and holds onto papers, the cap stays in place while using the pen. They are a very balanced pen, light but sturdy. So glad I took the chance on these. Highly recommended for anyone professional , journalist, school leisure use. They are Red, Black Blue 3 each in a box of 15.

These are excellent, smooth and dark ballpoint pens without ink blobs & globs. This 0.7mm ballpoint pen hs super smooth, dark ink and a fine line. Usually to get darker ink, you get a 1.0mm larger pen that may lay lots of ink including blobs on your paper. This pen's tip is a needle point, so you can get up next to a ruler or a stencil without issue. The shape of the pen is slimlined so it fits into even the slimmest pen holder on the side of your notebook and fits into your bag without catching on everything in site. This pack has the three basic colors anyone needs in most worksites except nurses that need green ink, but they make a green one too. I also bought the multi-colored pack of these for diagrams and grading papers. The ink isn't sticky and dries quickly so I don't smudge ink everywhere. Buy these, you won't need any other ones for your EDC pen.

I usually don’t like to use ballpoint pens, I prefer gel pens more but the study book I’m using pens on has thin paper and I don’t want the writing to bleed so I’ve been trying to look for smooth ballpoints. I use a Tul ballpoint (I don’t even know what point tip it is, just says medium) and it’s okay - but has some problems with ink blobs and can smear here and there. I saw these Pentonic pens and decided to try them. I only got the blue ink pack. First impression: I am pretty happy with my first test writing when I tried scribbling. It’s pretty smooth in my opinion, and the tip is smaller than I thought it would be - at first I even thought it was a gel pen. I did a test on the sticky note (photo) and a smudge test - I was holding the highlighter ready to immediately highlight to see if there are smudges. There’s a bit of smudging but I think it’s fine. When I did the finger smudge test, I did see there was a bit of ink pooling on the text - which was kind of disappointing but I hope it won’t happen as often as with the Tul pen. Another thing is I hope this pen doesn’t skip when I write. I didn’t see it when I tried scribbling but I don’t know if that will happen later. It’s one of the reasons I wanted to try and find a different ballpoint because the Tul pen skips often and it’s annoying. Overall, I am happy with Pentonic and we’ll see how well they work.

These are some pretty awesome pens. Sleek design, easy to grip, and it writes so smoothly. I genuinely am in love. I can't even think of even writing with another pen since I started using these. Also, 10 pens for under 4 bucks??! Be so serious, excellent value for money! Pentonic has added yet another forever customer!!

I was handed this pen in a restaurant to sign a receipt and immediately had to get my own. It is extremely smooth and writes with a nice fine line. I never thought I would pay money for a simple ballpoint pen but this is worth it.

Love the fine tip!! Glides effortlessly on paper.. not a stylish pen!! But definitely gets the job done!! Still apart of my top ten!!
