Great alternative if you cannot eat wheat
This brand makes a really great buckwheat pasta. It does not clump and tastes great. Always set the timer for 2 minutes less and test. It usually is ready quicker. Pesto is a great sauce for buckwheat. Since my husband cannot do wheat, this is a good alternative since buckwheat is not a true grain and is glutton free. Its more in the seed category. It is pricey compared to regular for sure, but we now use pasta as a side dish not a main disk, and so as a side dish, the price is fine. It is good for leftovers so I use the entire 8 ounce pkg for 2 of us. All their Buckwheat is good, especially the penne.

Great noodles
Very pleased with these and they were delicious in my stir fry. I love that they are 100 percent buckwheat and will order again

Excellent Taste
Buckwheat is known to more health benefits than quinoa so I thought I’d try it. I tried different variations of semolina pasta and generally was disappointed however, not so with this product, it was very tasty.The texture was perfect, it’s gluten-free high in fiber and packed with the essential nutrients like magnesium, manganese and phosphorus plus antioxidants which can promote overall health. Plus buckwheat offers a good amount of plant-based protein. I liked it so much I ordered two more packages. It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it. Definitely try it.

Better than regular pasta
I use buckwheat flour a lot so I decided to try this pasta and it’s way better than regular pasta. It’s a good flavor and consistency. It’s a new staple in my pantry.

Tastes good but it’s chewy
The taste on this pasta is good. It has a slightly different taste than traditional pasta, but with sauce you don’t notice. Plus, buckwheat has a good flavor anyway. The pasta starts out darker and then lightens as you cook it, but buckwheat is a different color than traditional pasta. While the flavor is good, the one thing is that it tends to suck together a lot and it is much chewier than traditional pasta. I had to stir it much more during the cooking process and despite costing it immediately in sauce, it still clumped. My kids didn’t mind the flavor, but they noted the change in texture. It is for that reason that I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars.
