Our 11 year old Standard Dachshund has had back and joint issues since he was 5. He would no longer run and play or jump up onto the sofa. His neck hurt so bad that he'd only shift his eyes, not his head. Having a poor liver he could not take many medications regularly; we would only give them to him when he was really hurting. While we have always had him on some kind of chondroitin combination chew, we never achieved the same results as when we found Rocco and Roxie's version.We have always been fans of Rocco and Roxie products simply because they work and are great quality. I was on their site ordering our must haves (jerky treats, and stain and odor eliminator) when I saw they now had Hip treats. I read the ingredients and saw many of the active ingredients are the same ones that actually work for me with my rheumatoid arthritis. Wow, I had to try it for my dogs! Plus, our boy is allergic to chicken too and this one was chicken free. I got my package and tried Charlie on them right away. He liked them! A few weeks went by and one day my Hubby commented on how active Charlie was that day. He was playing fetch and having fun. I then remarked that he was able to make it farther on his walks lately too. About the same time Charlie actually jumped up on the sofa next to us! He has not been able to do that in a long time. Hubs and I were trying to figure out why the change in his activity. Then it dawned on me. The only thing that had changed was his hip treats! Could these really be making such a big difference in his life? It had to be.Since we started these several months ago our boy has been able to get more excersie and build up his muscle a bit and lose some fat. After walks he is tired but not licking his knuckles in pain like he had been doing. I am elated with these results and plan to continue to order a steady supply of these.We recently just added a new dog that was rescued from the streets of Mexico. She came to us with a hip injury and we started her on these. Her limp has subsided and she has gained full range of motion again. The vet thinks the anti-inflammatory properties of these treats were a good aid in her recover. Another win!

These are aaaaaamazing! I have a Doberman-Pitbull who developed kidney issues. The food he is on caused him to gain a lot of weight so he's up to 130lbs. And to add insult to injury, my poor baby starting limping and was slow to get up. Enter these little num nums and I kid you not, my boy was back to movin an groovin in a matter of daaaaays! He eats them up and loves them. They don't smell weird. They are very effective. He's able to go on walks and get up without a struggle. If these help improve and extend his quality of life, then they're worth every penny! I subscribed 'n saved so I highly recommend!

I was hopeful about this product based on ingredients. Unfortunately, it really caused a lot of stomach upset for my dog. He has a couple protein allergies and a sensitive stomach. I'm at the point now where I haven't found a good supplement that doesn't cause that effect. So I have to rely solely on his food for him to get nutrition that helps with joints and bones. It seemed like it was good quality but it's difficult to truly tell with dog supplements since they aren't regulated as much. 4 stars because it may work for dogs without sensitivities.

My dogs now know what the container looks like and get excited when they see me getting them out. LOL. These Rocco and Roxie Glucosamine for dog chews are just what the doctor ordered, literally. My 8 year old Cavachon had started limping when the weather gets cold. Well, we live in Colorado and it can randomly get cold at any time. After taking her in to the doctor for x-rays and an evaluation, the vet said that she had arthritis that was aggravated by the cold temperatures causing her to limp on the one side. She recommended trying glucosamine daily to help prevent the limping and pain that Angel was experiencing; however, the ones she recommended were crazy expensive and came in a small container. I was not a fan.I always turn to amazon and was pleased to find the Rocco and Roxie glucosamine for dogs. It came in a chew, a large container so both of my dogs could use it, and had a really good price. Initially, I started off just giving Angel, the Cavachon, the chew since she was the one that needed it. But after my big dog, Daisy, saw that Angel was getting "treats" and she wasn't and would try to steal the chew from the other dog. So I started giving both of them a chew and it has been helpful. Angel no longer limps when the cold weather strikes and she no longer yelps in pain when we try to pick her up (especially to get in to bed at night since she has trouble jumping up on the bed as she's gotten older). Daisy, our Goldendoodle, loves them! She gets 2 chews and looks forward to them every morning. Even though she hasn't been diagnosed with arthritis, this will serve as maintenance and preventative care for her future.If you have a dog with pain, limping, or arthritis, then I definitely recommend these chews. My dogs like the taste, has been successful in relieving her pain and with such a large bottle, these are definitely a great value for the money.

All I know is it works for my dog. It’s chewable and he likes it.

Product caused one of my dogs to have an allergic reaction. Product caused my other dog to vomit all night. I only have 1/3 of the recommended dose and it still had undesirable results. They both have taken similar supplements in the past without issue. Please be advised you will not be able to return this product if they make your dogs sick.

My 4 year old golden stopped taking her other glucosamine vitamins so I researched around found these and she loves them! She daintily eats them from my hand every morning. Yay!
