Love the colour and works fab
Was hunting for a while for a kettle to match the colour of the kitchenThis 1 is perfect and works fabNot too noisy and boils pretty fast.Lid opens easy and was well worth the money

2 minutes and 10 seconds to boil 1.25L of water, impressive.
The media could not be loaded. I must admit that I am quite impressed with this Tower pyramid kettle, it has everything we have come to expect with modern kettles including the filter which is removal for cleaning.I was surprised at the size of the plug which smaller than most, but I am pleased to say that it fused so conforms to regulations.The water level indicator is nice and clear and has two markers, 0.8L which is the minimum, 1.25L and 1.7L which is maximum.But what I found most impressive was the heating speed. With 1.25L of cold water it came to the boil and stopped within 2 minutes and 10 seconds.It was a little noisy though, more than I am use to but I'm not going to knock a star off for that as the speed of boiling water far outweighs that.And plus, it looks stylish and fits in with our kitchen perfectly.Worth the money? In my opinion yes, well worth the £39.99 at the time of this review.

This is by far the noisiest kettle I've ever come across. I have an open kitchen living room and when the kettle is on you can't hear anything else including the TV at the other end of the room. Other than that it boils fairly quick and does the job.

Form over function
I purchased this kettle as I had spent quite some time looking for a dark blue kettle to match our kitchen and was unable to find one until I found this. The colour is fantastic, only one or two shades darker than our units, it looks very good, in fact quite classy which is why I have left three stars. II does boil quickly compared to our old kettle but there are a number of problems that I hope will help others to decide whether or not to buy one.The noise..... it is particularly noisy when in operation. We havent filled the kettle to max yet so perhaps it might be quieter with more water in but then it might produce more steam.The steam.....perhaps it is the size of the spout but we have to put the extractor fan on to try and reduce the amount of steam it produces covering the units.The filling.....very difficult, if not impossible, to fill the kettle when the lid is removed due to the handle being in the way so we fill it from the spout.
