It works
Works well and kills mosquitos (my main reason for buying) and other small bugs. The picture shows about 3 days worth - with the lamp in our living room, I haven't been bitten for 4 weeks. The mosquitos don't necessarily fly directly to the light, but they eventually end up there. With the windows wide open at night, this zaps every 30 mins or so.Good value for money.

Great value for money
Easy to install. Works well, does have a loud-ish bang/frazzle when some unfortunate creature makes it’s way to it but it beats a 7 year old screaming the house down because there’s bugs in the house.

A lot cheaper to run
Our old traditional zapper would fry a bat. This is LED and far cheaper to run, left on 24/7, a lot of insects here. This zaps lots of smaller flies but should have perhaps gone for a larger model; doesn’t seem to get the bigger bluebottles

Great for most flying bugs
Cheap to run, bright, kills fruit fly's mosquitos, carpet moths but not house flies. I keep chickens, outdoor fly traps are the best option.

Effective
Bought as a replacement. Spent a little more to get a more powerful one. Works very well although it does give a noticeable noise when it despatched bugs/flies. Shows it's working effects dog though

A fly killer that did not kill flies!!
Bought this to get rid of flies that come into our conservatory. Flies weren't attracted to it and some even landed on it but none were zapped! Really not fit for purpose as despite using it for a few days it did not kill any flies.
