I ordered this Bedsure Cooling Cotton Waffle Blanket for my king bed and it’s quickly become a favorite in my house. Both me and my dogs love it! The fabric feels soft right out of the package and has a nice airy weight — perfect if you’re a hot sleeper or live somewhere warm. The waffle weave allows air to circulate so I don’t wake up sweaty, but it still feels cozy enough to snuggle under. It also looks beautiful on the bed. The texture gives a simple but elegant look, and it layers nicely with sheets or another throw when the weather cools down. Even with pets jumping on and off the bed, it’s holding up well after washes and hasn’t lost its softness. If you want a blanket that’s breathable, lightweight, and stylish while still being durable enough for everyday use (and dog snuggles), this is a great choice.

Edited 2023-08-12 We've used this the last couple of nights and it's quite comfortable to the point where we sleep soundly. The blanket in very light and soft, it does keep you cool plus I've noticed that it seems to reflect your body heat back at you. So it basically keeps you comfortable without being too hot or cold. When sleeping on a cool night, you'll notice on your legs what feels like comfortable warmth without feeling hot or cold and you don't have the weight of a heavy blanket on you. Original Review - 2023-08-10 The type of blanket we usually use, we can no longer get as the Store chain no longer carries this type of blanket. We usually get an Egyptian Cotton waffle blanket similar to what you would find for a warming blanket in the hospital. So i decided to check here on Amazon.com and found this blanket made with 50% Bamboo and 50% Cotton. Took the plunge and ordered one of these. The color I wanted was Burnt Orange, but the soonest I could have gotten it was the 22nd or so of this month. So I went with the Taupe and ordered a King Size. The blanket came in yesterday (2023-08-09), washed it on the delicate cycle, then basically air dried it on the delicates cycle. The lint filter was full of lint about three sixteenths inch thick. Once it was done, I put it on the bed. The blanket is nice and soft, softer than my old blanket and feels like it'll be good for summer nights where you don't want anything heavy on you. I've yet to sleep with it, so with the nights starting to cool down, I'm hoping I'll be able to use it through the next two months before putting it away for the winter. The only downside I've noticed is my old blanket used to hang down to the floor on both sides of the bed which meant we both had enough blanket to cover us without the edge being too short. Our bed is a Traditional Queen size. (not a high mattress) Now this new blanket appears to be about 14 to 16 inches narrower than my old one. The sides are approximately 7 to 8 inches from the floor. Our bed consists of the bed frame which allows shoe boxes and such to be put underneath it, the box spring and the mattress. I mention this because some have a box spring, while others may not have the frame and so on. So this ought to give you an idea of how much it hangs down the side.

I bought this mainly for my husband, he’s a very hot sleeper and I haven’t been able to find bedding to keep him cool, with out me freezing. (We have the ceiling fan, a fan on the night stand, and a bigger fan at the end of the room. Just to give you an idea how serious he takes this) I put this blanket (king size) on the bed and our duvet over. He sleeps under the blanket and tosses the duvet off him. he sleeps much better this way. He doesn’t over heat, and it’s a light, airy blanket that he can be comfortable under. I also sleep under the blanket, and have the duvet on me. We both think it’s a super comfortable blanket. It’s soft, but has like a cozy feel to it. I would even say it’s luxurious. I’m super high maintenance about having that luxurious/cozy “hotel bed” that you can just sink in to, and I’d say this blanket meets my standards. Now, as far as the blanket being cooling/breathable/airy - I would say it stands up to that claim. It doesn’t over heat, or make you feel hot underneath. I’ve noticed sleeping under the blanket (and my duvet) that I can stay warm, but not hot. However if I do move to a new spot of the bed, then it does feel cold under the blanket until my body heat warms it up. So I usually stay in the same spot. Lol There are squares on the blanket that you can practically stick a slim object through (if you pick at it or forcefully mess with it) but I think that’s why the blanket is so airy and breathable. Maybe keep dogs/cat off the blanket so their nails don’t get caught. But I don’t think it’ll be a big problem. Just wash and dry accordingly, and try not let anything snag at the blanket. The length/size of the blanket is good. It fully fits my king bed, and hangs off the mattress plenty. (I also have a tall mattress) HOWEVER—- because this blanket has viscose (bamboo) material, it WILL shrink in hot water. Do not wash, or dry in hot water/heat. Lay out flat to dry, or air dry only in the dryer. I seen some previous reviews saying that the blankets are small, honestly I think maybe they washed/dried them incorrectly with out noticing that was the cause of the size. The king size is more than enough for a king bed. I picked the taupe color. It’s kinda a light beige and I’d say true to color. I wanted something other than white for my bedding, but if I ever go to change my bedding I’ll definitely get another blanket. But honestly I’m just debating on getting the white blanket too. I got it while on sale, (54$) but I would still pay original price for this blanket. It’s a new staple for my bedding.! Also, I did get an email from the seller with correct washing/drying instructions and care of the blanket. Overall a good buy, and probably will by again.

It’s a nice, lightweight, breathable blanket. It’s soft but the waffle pattern gets snagged on my rings.

Bought this during the summertime when it's a bit more humid to replace our regular comforter and my husband really liked it. Helpful to know it does have ridges that can easily get snagged by pets on the bed or if you're being hasty but overall great quality, lightweight, soft, washable and perfect for summer months.

I absolutely love this blanket. I have a duvet on my bed, and even with the AC and ceiling fan on during the summer, I tend to sweat a lot. I hate being uncovered, but this blanket gives me the comfort of staying covered while keeping me cool. It’s lightweight, fits my bed perfectly, and the material feels high-quality. It doesn’t shed and is definitely worth the money. Plus, it’s easy to wash since it’s so light.

I put this blanket over my couch for texture and protection. It feels lovely and the drape is great due to the material. Good value for what it's worth. But it's a bit thin so if you need a very warm blanket look else. It does say this is a cooling blanket.

Look it works like a blanket. And he says it is cooler than the other blankets, although it is still warmer than just a straight up sheet. The color is what I ordered. However this blanket is FAR thinner in person than it appears in the pictures. I know the design is made like that to make it cooling but when you compare the in person item to the pictures there is a big difference. Because it is made of tons of tiny loose threads dog nails absolutely get caught in it. It can't be left on our bed when we aren't in the room because one of our dogs constantly gets their feet stuck. More than anything this blanket stinks. It holds onto smell like nothing else I own. Every other piece of bedding the smell washes out but this one it someone gets stronger. Often I have to run it through the wash 3 or 4 times and put it outside to air before it doesn't stink up the room. Why does this matter? It might not for you. But if you/whoever is using this blanket sweats at night this will smell like bo and you will struggle to get the smell out every time. All in all for the price it's lasted and isn't terrible. But I'm replacing it soon and will be looking for something a little better quality even if it's a higher price tag.
