excellent addition to my wellness regimen
I am using this for the flavanols, and the fact that it has scientific backing. Clinically proven! It's pricy. It is something I will try to budget for, but it's a challenge. That being said, I like it a lot and overall find it worth it. Just a strong, natural, smooth chocolate flavor. Has bite. This is not sweetened. Have you had plain cacao powder before? If not, then you may find this slightly bitter. If you are used to dark chocolate, then this will taste just fine. I like it. Supplements dont need to taste like dessert. Just one scoop a day. I try to take it daily, but sometimes I forget. So far, I am getting the amount of servings as stated. Scoop is included. Dont use more if you are trying to get the 30 servings per bottle. I currently add it to my smoothie, but sometimes have had it simply mixed with water, or oat milk, or added to coffee. I dont always need to have is as part of some delicious drink. Just mixing with a little water and chugging also works for me. BTW, cocoa powder doesnt 100% dissolve. So if planning on adding it to coffee, just swirl your cup once in awhile in case it has sat long enough to start to settle on bottom. I read some of the reviews. Good grief, make sure to actually read the description and read the ingredients. Also, of course there is caffeine in this (also listed) because chocolate has naturally occurring caffeine. Products are filled based on weight, not volume, so yes there is going to be a half empty appearance. Powder settles. Container sizes tend to be standard. This isnt sweetened.

Only Cocoa Supplement Clinically Proven for Heart Health
The Only Cocoa Supplement Clinically Proven for Heart Health I’ve been taking CocoaVia Cardio Health daily for over six months and couldn’t be happier with its consistency and quality. What makes this supplement stand out is that it’s the exact formulation (500 mg cocoa flavanols, including 80 mg (–)-epicatechin) used in the major COSMOS clinical trial, so the heart and cognitive benefits aren’t just marketing hype, but are scientifically validated by rigorous studies involving more than 20,000 participants. In my experience, every container arrives perfectly sealed, the quantity is always accurate, and the powder is easy to measure with no surprises in taste, texture, or appearance. I see lots of online posts about other brands with “inconsistency” in their amounts or packaging, but I have never once had any issue like that in half a year. If you’re looking for real, peer-reviewed science supporting heart and brain health and a supplement you can trust for purity and reliability CocoaVia Cardio Health sets the standard. I strongly recommend this product for anyone serious about health and results. Ignore those unreliable posts promoting untested alternatives; this is the clinical-grade choice for proven cardiovascular support. Is it expensive yes but going to the doctors because you’re not taking care of yourself is even more expensive. Quality products cost money there are no shortcuts.

Price is cost prohibitive.
Just received and tried. Immediately, woke me up but gently, meaning no jitters which coffee typically gives me albeit sounds worse than it is. I read a review said they could breathe better. I agree, it was pretty immediate, 1 3/4 scoop per 16oz coffee with coconut milk n coconut sugar, very tasty. All this said I felt compelled to use 3/4 vs 1 scoop to stretch - and I gotta give it a 4 star bc $50 for this 6.8oz container is not sustainable for 99% of people. Another one of these - health for wealth. If you can afford, do it. I’ll need to think twice about buying it again (in 30 days)!

I love the taste of this
. I pour this directly in my mouth, as it has such an intense cocoa flavor that I don't need hot water to bring out the flavor. . I appreciate that this product has medical uses too, but it's too expensive for me to use every day. . I put my heart-fixing money into co-Q10, sardines, alpha lipoic acid, Life Extension Super Omega-3 EPA/DHA Fish Oil, Sesame Lignans & Olive Extract (3rd-party tested by IFOS for low mercury, PCBS, and rancidity) Life Extension Mega Vitamin k2 (with 45,000 micrograms of the mk4 form) and the Dr.Gundry "plant paradox" diet.

Misleading ingredients on the product page
So first of all, the "Ingredients" on the product page make it seem like this is pure cacao, but it isn't. The actual ingredients are Cocoa powder (processed with alkali), oat fiber, natural flavor. So two additives. I assume the oat fiber is to help it mix cold (giving them the benefit of the doubt that is not just cheap filler to get the costs down and increase profits), as you are not supposed to heat this much since that can destroy the flavanols, which kind of defeats the purpose of paying a lot of money for high flavanol chocolate. I purchased this with a gift card so I figured I'd give it a try without spending a lot of time on research since it was effectively "free", and considering the good review scores. The alkali processing gives it that cheap brand hot cocoa flavor, not like your typical pure dark chocolate. The flavor is still fine and it mixes well. So overall it is not too bad. If I mix it with cold brew to make a mocha it is pleasant. Some people may prefer this flavor as it may be more familiar depending on what they usually have as chocolate. As somebody who consumes a fair amount of dark chocolate that is not processed with alkali, I prefer the interesting flavor profiles of the less processed cacao, even if it is a bit more bitter. There are competitors out there that are pure cacao. Maybe they don't mix quite as easily but they are of better quality without additives and extra processing. If you are going to pay extra to get high flavanols, why not get a more pure product and also one that has significantly more flavanols than this one, and likely is higher in other antioxidants too (such as Vital Purple, which I just tried and really like). I can't give more than 3 stars, it is a decent product, the texture is good and it mixes very easily into cold liquids, the flavor is fine, not unpleasant but also not very interesting. My rating also considers the additives/processing, and the fact that they seem to be attempting to hide this from customers by how they've created the product page and made this information difficult to find. The added oat fiber should reduce the cost, so it feels a bit overpriced.

Loving it so far
Bought this a couple months ago, but only got around to using it this last few days. So far loving it, smells delicious, definitely bitter w/out any sugar yet tastes nice. I've noticed that after eating it I feel energized, clear headed, & as though I can breathe better. Picked this brand over others because of its very low metal & high flavonal count. I've been having this as a healthy dessert mixing 2/3 of greek yogurt, a tspn & 1/2 of brown sugar & tspn of vanilla extract with banana & nuts. You could add more sugar for a sweeter taste, I'm personally trying to keep processed sugar at a minimum. Will be updating in a few weeks for more long term benefits I notice.

Gradual but noticeable benefits over ~4 weeks (recovery, head rushes, digestion)
I started CocoaVia skeptical that cocoa flavanols would produce anything I could actually notice. After about 4 weeks of daily, consistent use, I’ve observed changes that feel both practical and repeatable. What I noticed: 1. Fewer “head rush” moments (especially with position changes). 2. Post-exercise recovery: my pulse and blood pressure seem to return to baseline faster - roughly ~20% less time than my usual pattern. 3. Digestion / inflammation-type symptoms: digestive irritation feels calmer, and flare-ups seem to resolve faster. Why I feel reasonably confident it wasn’t just a type of placebo effect: I kept the rest of my routine fairly stable while trying this, and I’m active enough that I have a consistent “baseline” for how my recovery usually feels. Also, this wasn’t an instant, dramatic effect. If anything, it ramped up gradually over weeks, which made it feel less like a day-one placebo effect and more like a slow, cumulative change. I also appreciate that cocoa flavanols have a strong scientific literature supporting cardiovascular-related effects, and my personal experience so far aligns with that directionally. Dose note: I’m taking about 15–20% above the label recommendation, mainly because I’m a larger person and train regularly. As always, if you have blood pressure issues, take medications, or are sensitive to supplements, it’s worth using common sense and checking with a clinician. Overall, this has been a worthwhile addition to my routine, and I plan to keep using it. Just be aware that it is an additive effect to healthy living and not some wonder food that solves all problems. The taste is very bitter. So I add honey or sugar to it and add it to my morning coffee.
