Does what it says on the tin!
Water based - good, easy clean up and low odourOpacity- very low, this means you will need 3 or probably 4 coats ( it says so on the tin and it's true, 4 hour drying time between coats ,ok that's fair it needs to dry, but overall this means to 'do'a typical ie not very big bathroom floor your looking at 2 days, which is pretty hard on the knees if these things suit you yup,5 stars if not spend a bit more on something with better I initial coverage and fewer applications required for a faster job.

Amazing paint!
In the middle of redecorating the hall to a pink/ monochrome them.Covered worn stairs and handrail with this… this is just the first coat.It says on the tin to do 4 coats, which is fine because it dries really quickly but I’ll probably just do two, leaving a day between coats. It is really beautiful paint to work with and (with dogs) it’s infinitely better than anything I’ve tried because it dries so quickly. The paint was a really nice consistency and didn’t require masking as gave clear, precise lines even with a mediocre paintbrush. The top floor of my house is painted with Farrow and Ball antique white and I know it’ll need repainting this year, in fact I can’t decide if I should paint the landing with this black as well one the wallpaper is changed to something monochrome.I painted the Farrow and Ball 4 years ago and it looks awful now so time will tell of this is any better: I much preferred the consistency of the Ronseal paint and of course, the price! It feels harder than the Farrow and Ball paint so hoping to refresh the antique white with a crisp, satin white and I’d choose this brand again: it’s excellent coverage and value for money.

Brilliant for stairs
Excellent paint, I've only had it down about a month but it seems hard wearing enough. It goes down lovely over black undercoat as in pic (reviews saying its too thin are painting over white!) I painted over grey on my stairs as ran out of black undercoat so that took an extra coat compared to the landing over black. Over black undercoat you could get away with 1 coat though I did 2 as its being walked on. 1 tin did my stairs and landing, I bough 2 but was surprised how far it went. Dries quickly within 2 hours so thats much better than my last oil based paint that put my stairs out of commission for 3 days, just hoping its as hard wearing but so far so good (and I have another tin if not!) Now been roped in to painting my sisters.

Patients needed
The media could not be loaded. This is not a one coat paint, I have applied 3 coats to get the finishing I required and it could probably do with a top finish to make it durable.

Good product if you follow the rules. Not a quick fix
Used this to smarten up a patched up floor of paving slabs and cement. Followed the instructions carefully. Sealed the floor first with a pva based sealant. Stirred the paint for at least 5 minutes. Used 3 coats. Sanded lightly between coats. I strongly advise leaving plenty of drying time between coats (at least 24 hours). Gives a pleasing result with a gentle sheen. A great product, but NOT a quick fix. Rush it and you'll ruin it. Take your time. The reviewers on here that have posted photos of the paint flaking off have simply not prepared the floor properly, or there is an inherent problem with the floor itself, (damp, for example). You MUST sand and seal it with a PVA type sealant first. It states this quite clearly on the tin. If you don't, the paint will flake off

Works, must seal bare concrete first, looks good after many coats
Not bad in general, but doesn’t stick well to bare concrete floors. You have to use floor sealer before you paint on bare concrete otherwise the paint flakes off immediately it’s dry. Need at least 3 coats to become anywhere near durable. Looks nice in the end but had to do more coats than expected.
