I was having trouble finding a replacement refill for my silver pen that was gifted to me. I have had the pen for 30 years and haven't used it because I couldn't find something that works like the original. These refills fit perfectly and the fine point is exactly what I like to use. As the PhD line of pens has been discontinued, I wasn't sure which substitute refills to buy for my all-time favorite pen. Intrepid's refills were recommended for this pen, but I was hesitant to buy them, as they are not cheap, and I didn't know how close to the original they would be. I am very glad I overcame my hesitation and bought a pack of 5 fine-point black refills. They are extremely smooth and my old pen has been brought back to life. I also think they are worth the price. It is like having 5 PhD pens! I couldn't be happier!
