It's Epic.
I waited eight months to start building this kit because it scared me. And it is difficult. So many pieces, such similar colors - it is easy to make a mistake, and it can be hard to fix them when you discover. It will be YOUR mistake, though. The kit provides a very nice large instruction booklet. All the pieces were there. Every time I thought something was missing - I managed to find it. No complaints on the technical end, really. The subject matter ... how cool. Who would even think to do a Lego-style sculpture of a natural disaster. Bravo! And it turned out even better than I had hoped. Photo included

Another great product from this team
It's another great set from this team. Sturdy, affordable, and looks fantastic. I own 3 of their sets. The only issue I had with this set, like others mentioned, I was missing one piece. They normally throw in extra pieces, but I was missing 1 green round piece, not a piece that you could mistakenly put somewhere else on the build. Thankfully, it wasn't an important piece. Still a 5 out of 5 set.

Challenging build but great display piece
As a Roman history buff, I enjoyed every minute of assembling this project. The build was challenging but the end result was a beautifully detailed display piece. Pay particular attention when constructing the black billowing eruption portion as some small pieces are quite similar in appearance in the construction diagram.

Price went up but that's okay
Brought for my grandson for Christmas. Don't know if he like it or not yet.

Color identification
What I disliked about the model was only one thing the color identification in the instruction manual other than that I give this model of five star I'm really enjoying building this I'm really into Pompeii and Roman architecture I've already built the Greek one with the Acropolis in Athens below this is a really nice model for the price it's really fantastic versus from the other L company would probably run you about 500 bucks that would be my guess anyway I highly recommend this model from this company it is a good company I built from them before they have many others that I'm going to purchase also like the Trojan Horse the helmet what else is there many more but this one was fantastic I just started it I'm on step number 14 so I highly recommend it as I said if you get it it is a challenge but it is very fun the instructions are very clear to the parts but color identification as I said is a downfall I give this model a five star

An Eruption Of Fun
Another excellent build from this company. I've done two others, and this one was just as great. Excellent instructions, no missing pieces, and a beautiful outcome!

Cool design that almost overcame issues. Might buy again.
Nice design and well saturated variety of colors. Pieces are a bit sharp edged (aka, harder on your fingers than the name brand). Pieces were also more difficult to snap together - they have to be aligned just right. Colors aren't as clearly printed in the instructions, but once you figure out the shades, it works. The number of steps per illustration is reasonable. There were some incorrect quantities of colors in particular pieces - meaning that there were all of the proper shapes, but sometimes there were 4 olive and 5 gray instead of 6 olive and 3 gray. You could make it work, and it wouldn't be obvious, but a bit annoying. The overall design was pretty cool though. I finished it, but would have to think hard before purchasing another one of this make. The cleverness of the design and subject almost made up for the not-name-brand quality.

Love it
This build is SOOOO fun!!!! It has so many details! The volcano is open in the back and they made it look like you can see into the caldera. I need more of this type of architecture so I can make a small display.

This is such a fun thing to build. I think it is good value for the money as compared to other well known brands. I plan to buy more items from this company for sure.

Un peu dur à clipper les legos ensemble mais c’est quand meme bien. Je ne regrette pas mon achat.

First of all, this set is amazing. I love it. It is so vibrant, so massive, so great in its depiction and very creative. I didn't build any Lego since my childhood but with a beer my partner and I built this set in a very long weekend. It was very tedious, sometimes frustrating and annoying. First of all, all bags have numbers. So all bags with the number 1 are opened first. The packaging could have been more intelligent because the parts in all bags marked 1 are random. So you have parts from bag 1-6 and bag 1-14 that actually should go together when building the set. Best way is to open all bags marked 1 and sort the pieces by colour. This set has a lot of the same colours going together. One bag was marked "spare parts". They were no spare parts, they were needed pretty much at the beginning and were essentially counting to bag 1. The first and second batch of bags are by far the most lengthy. It took us approximately 4h-5h to clear each section. Bags 3 and 4 have less steps hence less pieces and are more accessible. Bags 3 were the ash cloud of the volcano which was very confusing. The depictions in the manual are sometimes unclear. The difference between dark grey and black is hardly noticeable in the instructions. Also the light brown and green look almost identical in the manual. The instructions sometimes tell you to put stones and pieces somewhere but two steps later you apparently remove those stones because otherwise the volcano build would be uneven and cracks within the mountain appear. This was driving us insane. The instructions have mistakes and you will backtrack a lot! I had approximately 70 pieces left after finishing the construction. Weird to me because the build is still looking extremely nice and I doubt pieces were missing when we built it. The quality of the Lego knockoffs was not the best. It was at times hard to click the pieces together. Definitely lacking behind the original brand. After blood, sweat and tears and roughly 15-16h this set was completed. It is magnificent. The colours are vibrant and beautiful. Lots of nice details and very playful. I would definitely buy another Gemini set. This one was albeit the poor instructions really great. The price is probably justified considering what other brands charge for a similar sized set.
