This is a great hat. Excellent quality and value. Would buy more in other colors. It protects from the sun well and is breathable. It's durable and keeps light rain and showers out. Perfect for most conditions outside of a torrential downpour. Fits perfectly on a larger size head worked great on my medium and large size teens. Not to snug on an XL head.

Very cool hat. I wear this all the time I am outside. My heritage is north western European mutt so I do not get along with the sun. This hat protects my head enough that I do not have to grease up with sun block on my face, ears and back of the neck. I like the button up sides for when I am not looking for sun protection it is transformed into a stylish cool looking hat. The hat is light and breathable and does not cause my head to overheat.

The hat is amazing. It fits perfectly. It was the right color that I chose camo on the pale side. I work on DOT construction projects. I don’t get out of the truck without a hat. This is my protection. I never step out of the truck without it. The brim is perfect. It’s washable which is a must. The lanyard or necktie sometimes gets in my way, but I understand that it’s necessary. You can cut it if you want. I left mine hanging and I don’t synch it tight. It was a great deal and I lucked out. I got it on Amazon for eight dollars plus change. It’s my primary and I have a back up that I also got. I would buy it again.

I love my boonie hats (jungle cap). I have several different ones all a different color or camouflage pattern. I have been looking for a winter camo boonie hat for a while. I really like it. It fits good and looks good. It useses a drawstring to adjust the comfort. The last thing you want to do is loose your hat it the rain, or sun. Its make of a water repellent material it's not waterproof, but it will keep the rain off your head. Its light weight, and breaths to help keep your head cool when wearing it. I bought the winter camo one and the jungle camo one as well. I'd recommend those hat to anyone who is going to be outside to keep the sun off you, or the rain. I wear my boonie hats all the time. Even to work when im able too.

Not exactly US MilSpec - the crown is slightly taller than MilSpec - but the hats seem well made. Stitching, materials, construction all look solid. I bought a two-pack and it arrived on time and in good condition. I have a large skull. I ordered the largest size = I believe the site indicates that size fits just under 24 inches. My head measures right at that. Both hats were much too tight to wear comfortably. I have noticed this when buying hats off of Amazon, so I bought a hat stretcher off Amazon years ago. The stretcher has come in so handy over the years. Inexpensive and very easy to use. I am stretching these hats so that they will fit my head comfortably. I knew this was likely going in which is why I gave 5 stars. The price was very attractive, and the hats are of solid quality. Just beware the sizes run a bit tight, but they likely will fit small to average sized heads. I’d buy them again.

I often go on long hikes in very hot weather. I was about to buy a $50+ boonie hat but decided to give this one a shot first. Glad I did. It's better quality than I expected for the price. It blocks a significant amount of sun and lightweight and breathable. I'm glad I spent $8 on this rather than $50 on the other one I was looking at. I've seen other reviews saying the air ventilation holes have fabric sewn over them. That's not the case with mine. They are functional and definitely help keep my head cool. I have a medium size head. This fits perfectly. It would be fine for larger sizes as well. Keep in mind that you can adjust the tightness by putting the strap behind your head (not under your chin) then adjust the strap. I believe that's what it's for, not a chin strap, although it can be used under the chin as well. Highly recommend this hat. My only complaint is that the brim is a bit floppy but it's not a big deal. It can still be adjusted a bit.

The hat itself is of decent quality, is lightweight, and has a fairly deep bucket. The khaki is true to color. However, where it fails is on the chin strap and a ribbon around the bucket. I don't know what the function of the ribbon is intended to be, but it looks really cheap and goofy. The chin strap is of very poor quality and feels like it will break at any moment. If it were adjustable around the bucket, the cheap chin strap wouldn't matter quite as much. I returned it.

Perfect for my youth nature program! The young folks loves them and they provided great sun protection. Great quality for the price.
