I'll be the first to admit that I wasn't particularly impressed by this pretty stone, at least initially. Now that it's rehydrated, however, it shows beautiful flashes of blue and green. I can't wait to see it with its full rainbow of colors.

Look nothing like advertised and super small

They are never as good as depicted. But these are far from the worst I have seen. Some nice color as well as clay and rock.

I have bought many gemstones from several sources and most of the time I know to expect some sort cleaning to be involved. These two stones of Ethiopian fire opal were almost half the stone after cleaning. Too much clay dirt in and around the stone I can really only use it as crushed up for inlays. I must say a little disappointed with this one. Took a couple hours of cleaning.

This is a nice little chunk, almost too big for the charm jar I was going to put it in with color on all sides.

Smaller than I expected but still a beautiful stone
