Chosen and Cherished: Biblical Wisdom for Your Marriage Paperback – June 14, 2007

Got this for my engaged 26 year old granddaughter.Kimberly the author is the wife of Scott Hahn who is the admired and brilliant Catholic Bible scholar convert.Their marriage is done right. Great role model family.So I figured this would be a good book for my grand daughter who is going to be married.Hope so.

Very insightful

Kimberly Hahn has developed a beautiful study for women of all ages that helps us see how God created us and in what way we can live our life to the fullest as wives and mothers. She helps young women prepare for marriage, she helps women bring more to their marriage than they perhaps thought about, given the culture we live in, and she helps mothers raise their children to cherish their purity and to become good spouses themselves. She speaks with clarity and with experience and is someone that we can trust, knowing that she lives what she teaches. The DVD series allows us to have her into our homes and share her knowledge of Scripture as it relates to women, marriage, and family. Kimberly touches our hearts, whatever our age may be. She is a treasure to Christianity!

I was looking for a women's study that would help me better understand myself and the roles that I was placed into. This book, this study, did that and more.A well written, well thought out, and a well directed study.I have since recommended this to many of my friends and family as well as women's church groups, even facilitated this study in church groups. It is well worth your time.

A truly wonderful book. I learned so much about how to be not only a better husband but, also a much better father and person. Over 200 pages that are nicely paced to be read in small pieces for easy meditation. Geared towards women but, a great learning tool for men also. I first heard Kimberly Hahn on "Relevant Radio" and she is truly a gifted writher with a warming love for God that truly shins throughout her writhing.

My wife and I read this book separately and without each other's knowledge. It was quite a conversation on how we came to the same conclusion about this book. Highly recommend this book.

This book gives excellent advice to married women, but it would also make a great gift for an engaged woman, or even one just looking for a husband. Hahn gives great advice on how to be a good wife and what to look for in a potential mate. It would also be great for mothers to give their daughters.

Great book - need to read it again (liked it that much)! Kimberly does such a great job discussing marriage and the importance of the roles between husband and wife. Great book to read if considering marriage, as well.
