A mightly twig stove
This twig stove is great. I took it camping this weekend and instead of making a seriously overkill fire in the big fire pit at my spot I used this. It goes together so easily. It is very light, packs small and the whole thing - bag and all - fits in my hand and stashed in my small outer pack pocket. I did sand down the edges lightly since it was sharp the first time I assembled it. (120 grit sanding sponge did the trick.) It is strong too. I used my small Oigen cast iron pan to make myself a couple pieces of bacon as a test, my standard sized 12" cast iron pan to cook breakfast for two, and a percolator kettle to boil water. I collected a bunch of twigs and kindling and started the fire using a little bit of vasoline soaked cotton balls mix. I kept the stove fed with various sized twigs laying around the camp. I did not have to pack or split any wood at all which was nice. The stove/fire is small enough that I could set it on a big rock in the existing fire pit and not worry about fire risk in these woods. When I was done cooking the fire died out quickly and I was able to drown in with a 16 oz glass of water then wash the stove parts down with soap and water. It does keep its scorching/char a bit but it is part of the character. As a frequent camper in a wildfire vulnerable woods... This was an effective and sophisticated way to cook with fire that did not need a mini green propane tank or a bro-fire.

A little pricey but well made
I bought this stove after seeing it on a YouTube video. That video said it was an American made product, but the box indicated it's made in China. Seventy dollars for this stove is a little costly but the quality is evident. The components are all a heavy gauge, and the stove assembles easily. The grill is also a heavy material and securely locks in place. The canvas bag also speaks quality and adds value to this stove.

True survivor gear
Took the Ueberleben out for a test drive for a 3-night backpacking camping trip over the New Year's holidays - performed like a charm. Setting up is super easy, takes 2 minutes with gloves (yes, it was very cold outside) Filling the chamber with twigs and lighting them easy as well. When placing a pot onto the top, just make sure you've pushed the cross beams in proper (we had a bit of a woobly pot the first few minutes until we realized the cross section was not inserted all the way) - if that is done, very sturdy (we had 4L of water in a 5L pot sitting on it) Cook time - well, really depends on what you are feeding the burner, but we managed to boil 4L of water in about 15minutes with plenty of twigs in 0 degree weather :) Cleaning the burner is super easy as well - just disassemble after it has cooled down - and easily fits back into it's case I unfortunately did not have any pictures of it in action - my bad - will try to resubmit Overall - amazing piece of true survival gear - easy to use and care for, lightweight and get's the job done

Great…but
I love this almost completely. It assembled quickly, gets a hot fire within minutes and maintains that fire as long as you feed it small sticks. The titanium was a good choice as it cools incredible fast. The Only thing I don’t like is you get a bit messy taking the stove apart. Had I realized that, I likely would have purchased a Bush Box XL instead. I do still like this a lot and it gets good use for travel or at home.

Fit and finish seemed nicer than chinese knock offs
Relatively easy setup and burns well. would recommend wearing gloves to assemble as the edges are not buffed

Amazing portable yakitori grill
We used this once and I already am giving it a 5/5 score. Assembly is tricky, but anyone with reasonable problem solving skills (or access to YouTube) can figure it out: The first four pieces are straight forward but the fifth and final piece is a bit tricky. My fiancee and I live in an apartment complex and it's unfortunate we cannot grill on the property. Our next best option is grill at a park or pavement. This stove meets our need because, unlike a "normal" grill, it's so much more portable since it's designed for backpackers. Today we made some AMAZING yakitori skewers with this. I also want to add a personal note. Both my fiancee and I are struggling with mental health during gloomy Seattle winter. But being able to have a tiny fire, and cook delicious food it, it makes us forget our problems and brings us a bit of joy. I'm looking forward to using this more. Ski season is coming soon, and this will be a great tailgate grill at the parking lot after a ski day.

This product burns really well on twigs and larger branches fed in as it burns. Perfect for camping and emergencies.

As soon as I received my Uberleben Stocker, I had to try my hand at assembling it. The unit comes without instructions, but the seller does send you a link to a YouTube assembly video after purchase. However it wasn't necessary. The craftsmanship is superb, and assembling the unit using simple logic is a breeze. I took this think to the cottage and tried it out. Quickly got a fire started using bark and twigs. The unit is very well ventilated helping combustion greatly, so much so that I found myself continually feeding it to keep the fire going. Soon enough, I saw myself running out of combustible material. The unit was sturdy enough to support a decent size kettle and bring the water to a boil quickly. Once finished using the unit, I decided to wipe it down to eliminate the soot buildup inside before storing in its very adequate storing bag. All in all, it does its job wonderfully. But I question the practicality of the unit. It is much more elegant than a fuel-canister burner, but requires extra care in cleaning and finding the material to keep it going. It packs down very small, but needs extra cooling time before packing back up. I love this unit, but I will still use fuel-canister burners for those snowy or express treks.

This is a great stove. Extremely compact and lightweight. I love the canvas pouch too which gives it even more of a premium feel. Highly recommend. Great to keep even as a secondary stove if your main stove runs out of fuel, you likely will never run out of twigs for this stove. Used this stove to grill steaks on a backcountry trip.
