Wilton Gold Fanci-Foil Wrap

This worked great for wrapping a cake board I cut to be an oval. The side that is gold is what should be used for the cake. You can wipe the frosting off and it won't make a mark The other side is white but will show marks so shouldn't be used for the side shown. I took 2 cake boards and taped them together and then wrapped the foil around it.

I was not disappointed in the foil wrap. I used it for a little craft with my class of six year olds. I will use the rest of the wrap for neighborhood Christmas presents or just use it for birthday or anniversary presents. I did not know where to buy it so it was a convenient way of getting it in a timely way. I did not want to run all over town looking for it.

I tried to use this to cover a small table but it curled too much. You cannot roll it in the opposite direction to try to correct the curling (so that it will lay flat) as it very easily wrinkles and then becomes unusable.I would only use this over cardboard cake platforms, preferably only rectangle and not round ones as it would probably not cover a round without wrinkling. Any wrapping or such creates permanent creases and wrinkles.It does have an attractive-looking surface though; just be mindful of what you intend to use it for.

Used this for a VBS craft and it was perfect. Golden, shiny, just what we needed. It would look gorgeous under a cake and it cut really smoothly.

This product's description makes it sounded like a good idea for wrapping my chocolates and candies this holiday, but alas, it is not actually gold colored foil wrap, but rather an embossed paper that you might use for decorating a cutting board with.

I bake cakes to take to different events and wanted to wrap my serving board with something besides aluminum foil and this foil is made for that purpose. Works well and is very pretty. The local big box store doesn't carry anything like this so getting it online and for a great price is great.

I used this as a reflective backdrop on a photography project. I don't understand why "foil wrap" is so confusing or complicated to the low reviewers on here but the paper is basically gold wrapping paper. It's not highly glossy like Mylar but still looks just like the photo.

We used this paper as a backdrop for pictures, and it worked just fine. It's very easy to wrinkle it, so you have to be careful not to handle it too much.
