Men's Pure Cotton Retro Lace Up Shirts for Renaissance Pirate Medieval Viking

I'm very impressed with the quality of this shirt! It is comfortable, and goes great for the pirate outfit I'm doing. It is light weight without being see-thru or draping in an unflattering way. Great for an outdoor event! I ordered a size larger than I typically do (XXL instead of XL) since I have a long torso, and it fits great! The only complaint I have is that the sleeve cuffs are a little big. I would have preferred them to button a little tighter, but I'll likely be rolling up the sleeves more often than not, so it isn't a huge deal.

Nice material and a good fit. My husband is comfortable in this in any weather. We love that you can button up the sleeves!

This is nice, casual, loose... a little stiff when you first put it on, but a few washes helps. Looks great w a kilt!

Great costume shirt. I’m a smaller woman and I’ve worn it a couple times for different costumes, and it’s held up nicely. It’s lightweight for those hot days at the Ren Faire, but still comfortable enough to wear under a cloak on a chilly Halloween night. It’s a longer shirt with not much flexibility in the fabric. And it’s cut for men so it’s box shaped, as a fair warning for my girls with hips or bigger chests. It’s still my favorite costume shirt to wear though!

I go to a lot of Ren Faires and similar events and love dressing up. These style shirts are my absolute favorite wear because of their look and comfort. I own several in different colors, but have purchased them through other sellers. Unfortunately the last couple I bought from sellers I didn't know weren't as nice and were really disappointing. I was thrilled to find the Jemitop shirts looked like what I was looking for and the reviews were promising. It just arrived today and I couldn't be happier! This is the exact shirt I needed for my collection. I buy these larger than I need for an oversized look. The 2XL is perfect for that for me, but be advised that it fits more like a US men's XL, so unfortunately not a great option for larger folks. I'm plus size myself and usually wear men's size large or women's 2XL in shirts. The fabric is sturdy but soft enough for wear against the skin (I have sensitive skin). It's 100% cotton, just like the listing says, but it's not a flimsy see through cotton. I'd call it a medium weight; light enough to have a good flow and drape, but heavy enough to have body and feel like it's going to last. The ends of the lacing weren't finished on mine, making them hard to lace through the rest of the holes. But that's a minor detail that can be fixed with a couple stitches or ignored completely if you only want partial or even no lacing. I'm really excited to find a reliable seller for these shirts at such a good price! I highly recommend for a comfortable, breathable option for Ren Faires, LARPs, or even daily wear for a unique look.

I bought two of these shirts (dk blue and maroon) and I'm blown away with how much I like them. For the price, I really wasn't expecting the quality to be so high. They look great and I've worn them both as casual shirts and as part of my Renn Faire garb. The laces are nice and thick - made of the same cloth as the rest of the shirt, but they (so far) haven't deformed after several washes as can sometimes happen. They're not "soft" cotton - they actually feel more like linen and they wrinkle like linen (oh boy do they wrinkle!). So yeah, they're a bit scratchy and they wrinkle, but I look at it like I got a linen-like shirt for the price of a cotton shirt. I like them so much I'm going to buy spares for the shelf so I'm not sad in 10-20 years when they eventually wear out. I wear XL in pretty much everything and size XL fit me fine on these shirts. They're not especially roomy, however, so if I wanted some extra room I'd probably have to size up.

Length is good for Australian sizes... particularly arm length. Good quality sewing and workmanship. Material is still very thin. Not quality linen. Leather too thin too. Would be better if thicker material and better leather.
