Reliable and Worked Perfectly!
I initially tried making my own cable, but it wouldn’t work, so I decided to buy this one—and I’m glad I did! It worked immediately to reset the password on my PDU with no issues at all. The cable length is excellent, giving me plenty of room to work. Being FTDI-based, the drivers installed and worked flawlessly without any hassle. This is a reliable and well-made adapter that saved me a ton of time and frustration. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a dependable APC USB to RJ11/12 solution!

Worked perfect for PDU AP8941
This serial cable worked perfectly for my APC AP8941 PDU. It was plug and play. No drivers, just open putty, select serial and enter the COM port and I was in. Too easy and highly recommended!

I used this to update the firmware on my LIFEPO4 battery. It work with no issues. I have only used it twice so not sure on longevity yet.

Lo uso para configurar las PDU de APC en rack en el trabajo. Conéctalo a tu portátil y el otro extremo RJ11 a la NMC de la PDU, abre un editor de terminal como Putty o MobaXterm, configura el tipo de conexión y listo. ¡Muy recomendable!

Adattatore da USB a seriale RS232, i cavi sono precablati su un connettore RJ12 la cui pedinatura è adatta alla maggior parte degli UPS enterprise da rack 19". In ufficio ho un ATS AP7721 della APC, il cavo ha funzionato senza nessun problema. Molto comoda la lunghezza di quasi 2 metri, che permette di lavorare col portatile posizionato in zone comode. Fate attenzione che si tratta di una seriale RS232 standard, quindi con tensioni ±12V! Non cercate di usarlo su Arduino o simili, perché questi utilizzano seriali TTL a +5V o +3.3V, quindi con questo cavo rischiate di friggerli!

Si tratta di un adattatore da seriale RJ11 con UART ad USB dorato di chip RTDI 232 RNL, velocita massima di 2Mbps. Adatto per console, controllo UPS o semplici dispositivi con interfaccia seriale.
