Was skeptical, but pleasantly surprised!
I bought this expecting to send it back. With only a single 1 star review, I opened the box as it I knew it was going to be returned.I followed the instructions and watched a couple of you tube videos of others pulling out the factory unit, and it actually went in great. There are a lot of connections and you have to pay close attention to all the little things. Don’t rush it.But after about 30 minutes of actual installation, it was in. It went right into my daughter’s 2015 CR-V Touring perfectly. Very clean install. Even had an extension for the hazard button on top.I was most surprised about the amazing functionality of the car systems. Rear camera, right lane camera, and even the miles per gallon and fuel settings show on the unit. When you open your door, a graphic shows that a door is open. When you reverse, the camera comes on and the audio turns down (which I love for my daughter). When you turn on your right blinker, the right camera comes up just like it should. Even when you adjust the fan speed on the AC, a graphic comes up showing the change. I was blown away that a 3rd party unit would give better feedback from the car than the original oem unit did. And best of all, the steering wheel functions worked right out of the box with no adjustments needed. The sound system in the car actually sounds way better. The DSP is great with delay settings and 48 band EQ. It almost has too many settings. It has tons of control and is much louder.I spent a lot of time tweaking this to get some things to feel right. I had to open the factory settings to adjust the over all volume. I wanted more volume resolution so the adjustments would not be so sensitive. I was able to turn the over all system down to compensate and it made the volume setting more usable.Overall, I’m very pleased with this unit. Ignore the 1 star review. You can invert the rear camera in the deep settings. There are a couple of things that don’t quite work and are kind of disappointing. Here are my criticisms.1. I could not get wired CarPlay to work. I need to figit with some more but wireless works so freaking good…..I kind of don’t care.2. When you adjust the temperature on the AC, a graphic comes up showing the AC settings, but the temp text stays on “Lo.” No big deal but it would be cool if the temps matched. All other functions like fan speed, fan location , AC on/off and recirculation all show up.3. There are only 3 factory themes. There are plenty you can pay for but only three to choose from already on the unit. Again, to me this is no big deal. Our unit will sit 99% of its time on Apple CarPlay, which looks fantastic.4. The automatic speed compensation is not great. Might be because it gets it speed from GPS instead of the car but it adjusts abruptly. On the OEM unit I liked it on, but it works ok with it off on this unit.5. No website for support. This stinks quite a bit. I just wanted to reverence a user manual or something but there are only links to the Amazon store and YouTube videos. No documentation, no manuals….just a couple of 8.5 x 11 sheets of instructions just for the CRV install.Overall again, this unit has delivered just what I wanted. Apple CarPlay in my daughter’s car with all the original car functions. The screen is quite bright and looks really great. Install was pretty straightforward. Hopefully it will be reliable and last.

Works great but is a lot of work, effort and customer support time to Install properly
Received the ViaBecs in-dash infotainment center for our 2014 Honda CRV. Taking the dash apart to remove the old unit is fairly time-consuming and requires a proper pry tool to remove the plastic components. Also there are no installation instructions, though there are a few YouTube videos you can watch to help. This install is not for the faint of heart. There are a lot of cables and connections to plug and unplug, air conditioning vents and clips to transfer over to the frame of the new unit. After a few missteps I had a few issues with the installation as the backup camera didn't display on the new screen and the phone buttons on the steering wheel didn't work after installation. The volume up and down, and forward and back buttons did work. Went through a lot of messages back and worth with the seller, who was prompt in answering and most helpful with lots of information. They finally were able send me a harness, free of charge, though it took two weeks to receive since it was shipped from China. After taking the dash apart again for the second time, I was able to get the backup camera to display on the new unit. Though the phone buttons on the steering wheel still don't work.Once I got this unit mostly-fully functioning, it has worked well. A big improvement over the factory unit and it looks great installed. The backup camera looks great on the bigger screen, which is a big improvement over the upper smaller I-Mid screen. The Android Auto and voice recognition works well, and even though I don't have functioning phone buttons on the steering wheel, I can use the "Hey Google" command to answer and make calls. The other item I lost is the factory subwoofer, but the unit still sounds great without it.Overall I have to take off a star because I feel the description on the unit which says the backup camera and all steering wheel controls will work, wasn't true, at least out of the box. It took a great deal of time and a lot of messages back and forth with their customer support, which shouldn't have been necessary. In the end, to this point I love the new stereo even with the hassle I had to endure. If you're not willing to put the time into installing this, you might want to pass on buying it. Though getting one installed at a Car Audio shop will likely cost you a $1000-$1500. If you do decide to buy it, be prepared to spend time getting it installed correctly and time working through the Amazon Messaging system with the seller to get answers to your questions.

No vale su precio, es una caja de bugs y errores
The media could not be loaded.
