Excellent starter train set, nicely presented

I bought it because I liked it, and had the money. And it was available at a discounted price for only a few days. A lady who used to clean for me said, years ago, "If you like something, and you've got the money, buy it". In this case I did. I think it's a lovely set. The controller or whatever hasn't stopped working, after 30 minutes, as one reviewer said. Anyway I don't operate it for that length of time, at one go! So far it's good. The reviewer said if it breaks down you can buy a new controller, was it? On ebay, so! I added some lengths of rail to it, so I have a branch line. Hope to be able to add a photo!?

It goes with the bigger 1980s' locomotives .

Great little set good detail and great for a new collector. The set looks good when put together which is fairly easy to do. Great for all ages

The actual train and accessories is perfect for an entry level train set but the controller broke after only being used 6 times. The controller feels cheap and is cheap, when, or if it breaks, people suggest the R965 controller that can be found on ebay , apart from that a great entry level set for a beginner

Bought as Christmas present for my grandson, he loves it.
