I’ve been using the GoveeLife Smart Electric Kettle for several months now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. The main reason I chose this kettle is that the water never comes into contact with plastic. Even the lid is made entirely of stainless steel, which is surprisingly rare, as many stainless steel kettles still use plastic lids. This was a major plus for me and gives the kettle a solid, high quality feel. I also really appreciate the smart features. The Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity allow me to select precise water temperatures, which is critical for making a perfect matcha. Being able to control and monitor the temperature from my phone is incredibly convenient, and I like that the display can be set to show Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. Overall, the kettle heats quickly, keeps water warm reliably, and has been performing flawlessly over months of daily use. If you care about material quality, temperature precision, and smart functionality, this kettle is an excellent choice.

I love this pot. Now I can just tell my Apple Watch (or Alexa) “kettle on” and it will start the pot for me from bed. The App also lets you set a timer for it to come on, adjust the keep warm length of time, and turn off the beepers if you wish. I’ve had no problems with it boiling over, even at the highest temperature, but I do make certain I don’t fill it beyond the max line. It’s relatively small (.8 liters) so only makes 2-3 cups of tea or coffee at a time. It’s great for doing pour over coffee. I found it easy to set up and operate. I don’t know about its longevity yet, but it seems solid enough.

This kettle is AWESOME. 10/10 Recommend for anything, but especially if you are making baby formula. Main Pro - - Love that you can control from your phone. Have you ever had to make a screaming baby a bottle at 3am? Those minutes spent waiting for water to boil are the longest minutes of YOUR LIFE. The screams get louder. The water is boiling slower than it ever has. You start to wonder where you are? Who you are? Is this even water? What day is it? What has happened to this construct we call time? Until the kettle boiling snaps you out of it and you scramble to make that bottle in your sleep deprived state spilling formula all over the counter or burning the crap out of your hand. NOT THIS KETTLE. You can stay the heck in bed, mute that monitor, start it from your phone, and only leave your cozy comforter right as it is finishing and avoid questioning every decision you've ever made in life. It is truly a game changer. And the app is so easy / simple. Bonus Points - - it is super quick!! Whether remotely started or just with the button. - the DIY feature is great for programming an exact temp you like (ex: baby formula!) - it looks cute and sleek on the counter My One Improvement Suggestion - - I wish you could alter the other pre-programmed temps to your own custom temps, but that being said the options span a pretty wide range so it's not a huge deal

I've owned multiple kettles over the years — electric, stovetop, even one that made weird whistling noises like it was haunted — but none have matched the raw technological flex of this one. First of all, controlling it from an app? Dangerous. Empowering. I can literally start heating water without getting off the couch. My ancestors would weep at the luxury. This kettle is part of what’s becoming a full-blown Govee takeover at my house. I’ve bought and returned to their product line many times because the quality just keeps delivering. This kettle absolutely holds up that standard: custom temperature settings are a full-on game-changer for pour-over coffee, green tea, or pretending I’m a molecular gastronomist at 7 a.m. No more "boil and guess" nonsense. Now I can fine-tune my perfect brew to the exact degree, and if I forget, it patiently keeps the water warm for two hours like a caffeinated guardian angel. Fast heating? Check. Stainless steel? Check. Auto shut-off so I don’t accidentally cause a small domestic crisis? Also check. If you care about good coffee — or just enjoy having an appliance that's smarter than half your coworkers — you need this kettle. It's so good, I’m genuinely worried I'll start setting absurd custom temperatures just because I can. (187°F for "reflecting on bad life choices," 204°F for "pretending I’m a barista," etc.) Absolutely five stars.

Using it daily past 1.5 years or so. It’s very good for getting water to a boiling point. Has all the features I wanted. Temp control on phone & gooseneck were important to me. I don’t care about whether I can boil water by telling Alexa to do it you still have to walk over to the damn thing to pour the water in. Might as well press the button while you’re there. Imo the voice activation stuff is more of a gimmick. But no complaints either way.

I was super excited to get this for my pour over coffee. It has a good weight to it and feels well made. It does take a bit to heat up , but not too long. I like the hold feature that keeps the water a constant temp, as long as there is still water in it. If not, it will automatically shut off. It’s quiet and it is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and isn’t an eyesore for your kitchen. Wish it held more, but it holds enough for making 2 pour overs, so I don’t really need more. One Complaint: It has the function to connect to an App, so you can set it to come on ahead of time. Great, right? Nope. It does not support 5G, and it wouldn’t connect to my WiFi. I ended up keeping it because I like it and will just not use that function. So, if that’s a must for you and you have 5G, know that it won’t connect.

I had gotten one of these for my wife. She absolutely loves it. She loves the gooseneck, so much easier to pour. The water takes very minimum time to heat. Great product, so far we love ALL the Govee products as we have a lot.
