Very easy to use and especially helpful for those with limited dexterity and vision.Perfect for protecting and securing to lightweight silks or other delicate fabrics.There is rubber or some sort of substance that holds the pin securely so it does not slide around (my favorite feature of this item).The magnet is fairly strong but it is small so I would not recommend wearing it with very thick fabrics such as a heavy wool coat.I purchased a second one for my long and larger brooches as this keeps them from flopping around.I hope MagnaPin will eventually offer these in larger sizes or perhaps with more length to accommodate brooches with long pins.Comes in a box that is presentable for a gift.

For years, I avoided wearing pins/brooches because of the issue of making holes in garments. I have a lovely new gauze cape. I want to wear a tank under it and close it up with a pin either on the top of the garment or at the bottom. This product is a true performer! It really does the job! It’s so easy to use. It’s inexpensive, and you don’t have to choose a metal color because the magnets are hidden. It fits onto any size pin. It’s the perfect thickness. I highly recommend this product!

I ordered 2 MagnaPins jic. This rhinestone humming bird pin is 2 3/4 in x 1 3/4 in. First thing you need to do is shove a needle through both open ends of the magnet. The shaft on the pin slides into an opening on the magnet. One magnet was sufficient and VERY strong to hold the pin. Shipping was fast. It was wonderful to know it came from a mom & pop shop with a hand written note on the packing slip. Purchased a pair of these for my wife.They are actually better than I anticipated.Magnets are very strong. In the box, I put it on the dresser about 4 inches away from a sound bar and it pulled itself to the sound bar. Be weary and mindful of any small electronics around this device.It is very sturdy as well. I put it on a shirt and scarf(scruffy one) and spun it in circles. I could not get it to come loose. Unless you are skydiving with it on, i do not think it will pop off during day to day wear.very good product, highly recommend.Added a photo for size scale next to a stamp.

This thing is awesome!! So many times I've wanted to wear my brooches but didn't want to risk putting a hole in my shirt. This is the PERFECT answer! Easy to use and very durable -- I wore a very heavy pin today, and it didn't move an inch! Shipping was also much quicker than the estimate said.

Love love love this!I'm male and I love to jazz up my style with all types of pins and brooches and I get compliments all the time but I hate damaging my clothes by poking holes in the fabric and getting the position right. I was really excited to get this. I have a pin that I have to wear at every meeting. I was hoping to keep from poking holes in all of my dresses. However the first time I wore this, someone brushed up against me, and my pin went flying. Needless to say, I have holes in my dresses now

This is my second purchase of the Magna Pin. It works great with thin and thick fabric. If the fabric is too thick I would suggest two pins if you plan on moving around a lot or if it is a jacket and you plan on taking it off. It has worked wonders without destroying my true vintage clothing or my repro clothing. I have over 100 brooches and it has worked on all of them so far that I've worn. I highly recommend purchasing one or more. I just wish they made them in gold to go with my gold brooches and pins.
