Base cannot be unscrewed
Not sure if I received a defective product but the base cannot be unscrewed for me to install the needles. After a hard time just pushing through the needles, I finally have a wdt tool to use. It works very well to distribute the coffee grounds without them spilling over the dosing funnel, but I do wonder how I can replace the needles if they ever bend or break. And the needles do bend quite easily. That’s why it’s a 2 star only.

Struggling to get the effectiveness and value as yet from this product.

Consistent resluts
It's a good WDT for the price. We will see about longevity, but no complains so far.

Needles were too thin and just fell out of the holes.
The needles wouldn't stay in the holes they just slipped right through. There were no instructions on whether I was supposed to bend them to keep them in or how to put it together. Returned the item.

Great WDT, tried and true brand
Normcore has been a staple in the espresso field for quite a bit. This was my first WDT piece after doing some research on the hobby. The construction, packaging, and materials are all top-notch. I'd expect nothing less from Normcore. This is the V2.1 model, and it includes a stand, extra prongs, and a high quality WDT. It works great at evening out the grounds in your portafilter and distributing them properly. It's pretty simple to use, don't be afraid to scrape the edges and bottom of your portafilter to get all the clumps out. Cleaning it is rather simple, just tap it on the edge of your portafilter or use a brush. Keep in mind, the V3 WDT is out, so that might or might not be a better option for you. The one gripe I have about this tool is that it can be a bit of a pain to get it back in the stand swiftly. This is mainly because the prongs stick out at an angle, so you can't just slip it back in from the top. You have to do it from the side at an angle. Not a deal breaker.
