Solid, versatile, and better touchpad placement.
Solid and versatile laptop. My HP touchpad always interfered with my right hand when typing as it was too far to the right of the computer--a design flaw for men with bigger hands (when your palm touches it it makes the mouse erratic and can delete text). The ThinkPad's touchpad is positioned about 1 1/2 to 2 keypad buttons to the left which works better.

Excellent latop, but battery life is shorter than I expected
Excellent latop, but battery life is shorter than I expected and it takes a while to get used to the new keyboard arrangement

Lots of issues right out of the Box.
This laptop looked like a beast on paper for the price however it froze non stop. It froze while sleeping, it froze when i left it out for an hour. It refused to wake from sleep regularly. I am very tech savvy and did everything including putting a fresh windows install on it. Nothing changed, the computer just continues to have major issues. Do not buy this. It is clearly a hardware issue.Note: Lenovo's have an issue with hibernate mode but this PC doesn't seem to have any option to turn it off no matter how many forums I relentless searched.I had to edit this while writing this because the computer froze again. Literally no reason at all, I checked event viewer and nothing adds up at all.

Works Phenomenal for Work.
My wife got promoted and needed a good laptop to work from home with. She picked this. I thought she needed something else. But since she has gotten it. She has absolutely loved it. She talks about how much she loves it, all the time. And that it makes her job easier. She would know the details why. I don't. Lol. Just know that she loves it.

Well worth the money - except the back lit keyboard.
Runs very well.Only negative (and for me it's at least a one-star deduction) is the backlit keyboard is just not very bright. Great fingerprint reader. This was one of the reasons i chose this ThinkPad (beside the red dot).I have macular degeneraton and the backlit is just not bright enough. I touch type for most stuff, but I need it for the number and top rows. I had to order some white keyboard stick-ons on Amazon (they work very well). The fingerprint reader/login is absolutely fabulous - works way better than my S9 phone.16GB/512GB no touch pad
