Incentive Spirometer Adult, Lung Exerciser Device, Breathing Trainer - 6000ML Inhale Volume Measurement, Equipped with Ball Flow Rate Indicator & Scale Indicator

I love this incentive spirometer. I wasn't able to take slow deep breaths when I do relaxation exercises and I would sometimes get out of breath when I wasn't doing anything strenuous. I was told to try a nice incentive spirometer like this one. I bought it and use it almost every day. Now I can take a slow deep breath and hold it. I don't get out of breath when other people do even though I'm not in great shape. I only get up to 3000 at the most, usually only 2500, so the size is perfect. It's easy to take the mouth piece and tube off for cleaning.

Due to allergies and the questionable air here, we were having problems breathing. I initially purchased inhaler/breathing apparatus because it was very inexpensive. However, it turns out that it is now a very important part of our lives. It really does help expand the lungs and aid in breathing better. It's super easy to use and clean. The device is light and is also small enough to travel with it. For inhaling exercises, you simply turn it upside down. For exhaling, turn it right side up and extend the hose. Easy-peasy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this product because it was cost effective but also, it was seemed very simple to put together. I was right! It was so easy to use and very nice. Portable:It’s not very big, not like hospitals or rehabs give you. I like that you can turn it over and use it another way too. Comfort:Very easy to use! Durability:It doesn’t feel cheap, it is plastic, but the pieces are sturdy.

It's the little things in life right? This small portable lightweight wonder has been a great wellness tool for my Uncle recovering from surgery. It’s designed to help strengthen and test lung capacity and it does it well, no doctor visit needed. As my uncle kept at it several times a day it did help improve his overall breathing capacity, and it also helped us know when to call the doc if his ability to move the ball dropped. A nice simple yet very useful design.This is perfect for anyone recovering from respiratory issues, surgery or anything that has affected their lung function.The small ball gives immediate visual feedback on your inhale strength, while the scale makes it easy to monitor improvement or declines. We all found it simple for someone sick and elderly to use, easy to clean too.

I couldn’t get it to work for me

After battling a respiratory cold/crud issue for a few weeks and my fitbit indicating my oxygen level was nearing just 90%, my nurse daughter said I should get this and do it religiously. I did and it worked. I knew hospitals made you do this breathing exerciser after surgery and such so I assumed it was legitimate. Within a week of doing the breather, my oxgen levels came up and while I still had the random coughing spell it went completely away in a couple of weeks.

Using this product was like having a personal trainer for my lungs (doing the exhale and inhale mode). Just like a trainer helps you strengthen and improve your muscles, this product helped clear and strengthen my lungs, making it easier for me to breathe. It's like having a workout plan specifically designed for your respiratory system - highly effective and highly recommended.

Had a respiratory issue that lasted for a while and someone suggested trying this out to help with getting the congestion to move quicker. It seemed to help with breathing deeper and getting lungs back where they were. I may continue to use it to train my lungs for deep breathing.
