Hood protector
Very easy installation, fits my pickup like a glove.

Does not fit proper
I dry fitted it and it didn’t look right after cleaning the hood and started installing, it did not lay correctly I went ahead and installed thinking it would lay down and stick properly. It did not I have 2 seams in the hood and it does not lay flat. To late to worry about it now I guess if it gets tore off I will buy a different type that might fit better

Don't do it.
Adhesion is with tape and not all the way around. So there is no way to clean under it when it gets dirt and debris underneath. Wanted to return product because it shows returnable on the Amazon add but shipping was going to half of the $112 I paid. Better options available!

Doesn’t fit 2023
Does not fit a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado Duramax 3.0

Even though it was a 3rd party seller and not Amazon directly they were incredible and rectified the issue inside 24 hours. I was completely unaware that 1500 Chevrolet Silverado's have 2 hood styles, Raised and not. The "amazonconfirmedfit" doesn't mention that so everything else was a confirmed , a sure fit for my truck so I placed my order. This Hood Protector is for a Raised Hood mine was not and at the final stage of installation I was unable to get the protector down against my hood in just a couple areas. It was not flush or completely adhered to the hood because of this. After contacting WeatherTech and using their web site the problem was determined...........Hood Protector is for a Raised hood. This is a paramount fitment when going to order this protector and using the WeatherTech site helps when ordering.
