Sleek and professional
I picked this machine out several months ago, and I finally decided to buy it and set it all up. Compared to my old $300 cheaper laser, this is a huge upgrade. I cant wait to start engraving. I just finished setting it up today, and I'm very impressed with the machine, and also the software is so extremely helpful and easy. Rotary attachment will be fun, as well as the Infrared 2 watt jewelry laser. I cant wait to make coins! Well worth the money. very professional. Update: I've had for a few weeks now, and compared to my old engraver, a project that would have taken 2 hours took only 30 minutes, and just the way it is able to seemlessly measure the martial is remarkable. I used to have to do practice runs on both cardboard and possibly waste some material lining things up! Very professional machine. Don't hesitate.

Love my XTOOL S1!!
Absolutely love my xtool S1. The software it comes with is some of the best in the business, so intuitive and easy to use. I would absolutely recommend the S1 to anyone looking to start learning laser engraving.

Well worth the investment
The best functional engraver i have ever bought. I studied the brand for almost a year before I bought the machine. I do not regret getting it. It's fast, durable and the size is a large workable space.

Great for side projects
Easy to use. Good quality. Needs different laser module for metal.

Be aware: Included Class 1 riser base limits functionality
Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase. I haven't yet used the rotary attachment, but the 20w unit has proven precise and easy to use. While I am familiar with Lightburn, XCS is easy to use, though I'm still learning how to adjust settings when the results aren't quite what I wanted. But then there's the included Class 1 riser base. When I was first putting the unit together, I had watched multiple setup videos. All heaped praise and said the riser base was essential to getting the most out of the unit. What I didn't realize is that all of the reviewers were using the Class 4 riser base that supports the conveyor function, has a drop down front panel, and multiple slots that allow the user to adjust the height of the riser base. The Class 1 riser included with the "deluxe" package is not that one. It is a single unit that requires you to fully remove the base plate from the main unit and then screw it onto the riser base. This takes about 20 minutes and requires you to move the main unit more than once, risking damage. And, once attached, the riser base/base plate cannot be adjusted in any way. It's just a big rectangular stilt. The problem with that is that the laser unit cannot lower itself enough for any standard, flat project. There's one small line in the instructions that indicates that you may have to raise anything flat for the laser to reach it. No accessory or instructions are included. Just one brief acknowledgement that the riser base makes it difficult to use the laser for standard projects. This is a fundamental design flaw. The Class 1 Riser base renders the Xtool S1 virtually useless for standard projects (i.e. engraving coasters, cutting thin wood, anything flat) without some kind of jerry rigged riser. You cannot use the honeycomb easily, most things you would use to raise things up enough could be burned by the laser, and insuring whatever you're using to raise things sufficiently is actually level is a challenge. So the Class 1 riser base is ONLY useful for larger items, the RA2 rotary assembly, and little else. While the other parts of this bundle are solid, including the laser, air assist, exhaust fans, honeycomb, etc., the Class 1 riser base is nearly a deal-breaker.So if you do want the great precision, ease-of-use, and reliable results of the Xtool S1, be certain to only get one with a riser base that supports the conveyor function (a.k.a. the Class 4 base). Otherwise, you will be very frustrated with the 20 minutes, heavy lifting, and potential droppage issues involved with attaching or detaching the larger riser base as is necessary to change project types from flat to anything larger and vice-versa.I recommend the Xtool S1, but do not, under any circumstances, reccomend the Class 1 riser base included with this bundle.

Great product
The media could not be loaded. Had some issues with customer service at the start when having issues with the product but after emailing them and getting to the right places and people everything was resolved and the customer service actually ended up being super helpful and friendly! I would like to name drop Wendy at XTool as she has been great and exceeded my expectations. The machine is great and has impressed me very much. The free software “Creative Space” is very user friendly but I do wish it had options for tapered tumblers like other laser engraving softwares have.

Not quite as advertised, listing is missing information
We feel that the size is misrepresented. The title, images, description, details section and almost all areas of this listing and the associated product on the Xtool website keep referring to the bed size as almost 24x15 inches. Nowhere on this listing does it say that the work area is only 19x12. We laser full frame designs on products and bought this specifically for the 24x15 area we thought we could laser. We only found out about the smaller work area when we watched a YouTube video from another Xtool owner and they referred to the bed size limitations. That’s when we went through this whole listing again and found no mention of a work area at all, but bed size is repeatedly mentioned. Only once on the Xtool product page does it mention work area, not in the images, description or details. You have to scroll pretty much all the way down to the bottom under specifications to find the one line saying your laser area is smaller than the bed size that keeps being advertised. We spent a lot on this and bought the riser, the rotary bundle, and other things to combine with the laser but now feel disappointed and deceived.

Great Laser
After having this unit for several months I have to say it beats the pants off of my other engravers. I purchased the air filtration unit with it and have zero smell or smoke when running it. Also bought the 2 watt laser for metal and am truly impressed with what it can do.I have only had one issue with it and that was the laser lense cover. The glass etched over time and would diffuse the laser point. Contacted support and was able to get several of them for cheap money. Got me right back into business. The software that comes with it works well. Having used Lightburn for my other engravers it was a small adjustment and learning curve. Overall a great laser that has done everything I have wanted it to do.
