Stylish appearance and quality build and sound
Lovely cd player/dab, fm radio. Quite large, but elegant and stylish in appearance, and most importantly (for me anyway) the sound is marvellous - smooth and rich without any excess vibration. The cd player is via a tray - for my money much safer than the letterbox style which I have never liked. But best of all the cd player is (thus far) smooth running and completely free from the rattle, humming, whirring and squeaking noises that plague some cd players these days and which drive me mad, especially when listening to audio books. There are external buttons and a remote control which helpfully comes with a battery. I found it remarkably easy to set up as it actually did everything itself! I just turned the standby button to select source: dab, fm, cd player etc. and it automatically tuned into all the stations on dab (also setting the clock when it found BBC Radio 4) and fm. It comes with various wires and aerials and slots for Bluetooth etc. and a very comprehensive instruction book.I havent used all the other bits yet, but other reviewers have given their opinions and seem quite pleased. As with anything these days, you can't please everyone, but you can speak as you find and I find it very pleasing in both appearance and the quality of the build. I also think it is within a fairly reasonable price range (in a grossly over-priced market). I was influenced by the predominantly positive reviews on the site and have not been disappointed and agree with the majority.

Retro Looker
Straight out of the box & this item looks great, both my wife & myself were impressed, even my 30 odd year old son noticed it & loved the design when he visited. Setting it up was easy, the aerial was fine to attach & doesn't look out of place. Sound is really good on the CD, lovely tones & very clear. However, the CD drawer is quite flimsy in my opinion. The radio is too, very rich, though the one downside for us is we cannot get certain national DAB radio stations, the main reason for buying it. Perhaps, it may be the area we live in, but we can get local DAB. We are not techy enough to use Bluetooth or things like that, but we have no doubt the sound should be just as good. Overall we like it & have every confidence it's volume & quality sound will fill our lounge for years to come!

Excellent design, very good quality, and sound is great from DAB/FM/CD. Very easy to set up as well. I am very pleased we decided to buy this from BuyCleverStuff. It also arrived in just 2 days following my order.

Just about okay but QC issues
The unit had a white fingerprint on the side, under the lacquer of the wood veneer. The seller emailed me to ask how the product was, asking that I reply to their message directly - so I told them about the problem...... no response. Returned the item via Amazon for a refund...... little bit later got another email from the seller asking me to write a product review. So here I am. Other than the fingerprint, the left hand dial (you use to select the input) felt very 'spongy' and actually selecting the correct input was almost tricky. CD wise the sound was good but took a surprising amount of time to spin up and recognise a brand new chart CD, Bluetooth lesser sound quality (from an iPod), and the DAB got lots of interference in our kitchen even using the various aerials that are included. If your budget is limited or you're desperate for this retro look then this may be worth considering - you can't expect the world for £160.......

Looks great, lovely tone.
I am really pleased with this dab radio/cd player. Not only does it look great but it has a lovely tone. It looks to be made well and was really easy to set up. It also arrived very quickly and well packaged. I would use this seller again.

Great looks
Great looks, good sounds. The display not quite bright enough in daylight. The source selector could be more definitive with discrete levels rather than liniear.
