Great toy for my Macaw but only last about 12 hours. lol Exactly what I expected

We go through quite a few toys since we have 3 LARGE macaws! When we can find toys at bird shows or expos, we stock up. Generally, we buy big ones and break them down to make multiple toys. This time, I bought three of this specific toy. Not sorry! And, I don't need to break them down, either. They're well made, sturdy and use chains, not jute, twine or wound paper. Here's the breakdown: 7 whiffle balls. Heavy duty, so they'll take some abuse from big beaks. 1 1/2 in. in diameter. The wooden beads are 5/8 in. in diameter. Those are always the first to go. One good crunch and they're history. Nothing new there. That's just the way it goes. The wooden blocks are perfect. Sturdy, but not too big to chew on and splinter. About 1/2 in. thick, so they stand up to the strength of a macaw beak. There's a total of 56 blocks in this toy. It WILL last a while. My only criticism is a "leaf" they put on the top of the toy. It's woven, like a silk flower. This means that my birds can shred or tear the material, and might possibly ingest the threads. Not good! So, I cut the leaves off. No big deal. But, it's definitely something I'd recommend you remove if you buy this toy. We put a toy in each of the three cages. As with any new toy, they guys had to check it out pretty quickly. But, even after the initial attack, the toys took the assault well. I'm sure they will last for several weeks, minimum. That's about the best I can hope for with three extremely strong and active macaws. Yes, I highly recommend this toy. I'm very picky about bird toys. I dislike wasting money on toys the guys won't touch. These are well worth the money and I expect to be ordering more in the near future. I'll be leaving this product on my "wish list," for sure! The price is fair and for what you get, it's really quite a bargain. Be talkin' to you.....David

Great looking toy. The entire piece is long but the blocks themselves are a little on the smaller side. My macaws were immediately drawn to it but are able to destroy the blocks in one go 😅 comes with a larger hook option. I’m hoping they don’t completely destroy it too soon. I do wish the little rings at the bottom were larger.

I have an African Grey that loves toys so he goes through a lot of toys , but toys make him happy & busy , I gave him this for his Birthday and he started playing with it before I even got it hooked in his cage , his door is always open during the day but closed & locked at night or when we are not at home so I need to get him things to keep him busy when in his cage & this lasted about three months , he is not a destroyer like other parrots , he has some favorite toys that he has had for years he plays with them but doesn't destroy them , but this one he played with every day it kept his interest , I do keep lots of his destroyed toys & put more toys on them like pieces of wood , cardboard rings i also add some fresh fruit & veggies for Varity , so all in all I say he liked it .

My CAG loves it. My TAG is ignoring it at the moment but neither were afraid of it. CAG has been chewing on the wood 😊. Great quality, colorful and good sized.

Pour mon gris d’afrique. Le jouet dure plus longtemps car il ne peut le défaire rapidement grâce aux chaînes qui restent en place….il s’amuse beaucoup plus longtemp, car ceux qui sont reliés avec de la corde durait environ 1 semaine . Très bon achat.

I give 4 stars because of the bell! The toy itself is great...BUT Please for the love of everything feathered REMOVE THE BELLS!! These are NOT safe for bigger beaks at all, at least not this style bell. My military macaw has been cuddling this toy since I put it in with her and all night but she does chew from time to time and decided to chew the bell....I’m sooo happy she knows when to stop! Other then the bell issue the toy is great! My military wants to marry it and my blue and gold wants nothing to do with it! Win some, lose some!
