Backlighting can be key to a comfortable room .

I love these and have them behind two plants. I did change out the LED bulbs for halogen because I prefer them, but for LED lights they are quite nice and very bright. Very warm light.

I like the fact you can use incandescent bulbs. I just prefer that light effect.

I wanted to add a little uplight to two dark corners so I bought this pair of floor lights. They arrived quickly and were good quality. However, I live in an old home from the 40's that has many types of wall surfaces due to countless renovations over the years. Some walls are still plaster. Just like downlighting is a bathroom will make you look like the crypt keeper, uplighting does old walls no favors. It highlighted every imperfection in the surface, things I had never even noticed in regular lighting. So be careful if you have anything other than sheet-rock that's smooth as a baby's tush. Speaking of babies, these lights sit on the floor and are extremely bright, like eye-damaging. Do not use if you have a curious teacup size child crawling around who might look into one or try to pick it up.

The light is extremely bright and really only illuminated straight up. So you may want to reconsider if trying to illuminate a whole room.

The product arrived on time as promised and was easy to plug and play. It comes with a instruction manual , however I had already set up the lamp before i realised had instruction booklet. This lamp brings just the right amount of light not too bright or too dim to create right mood for the room. its easy to operate via foot to switch off or on or would suggest to use either a timer or smartt plug to manage hours when you need light. Good product to own

We bought these to put in the corners of our dining room for ‘dramatic’ effect near some drapes. They look great. We have them on a timer. They are LED so there is no risk of fire. I might buy more to use in other rooms.
