These are really nice chopsticks.
These chopsticks are a cross of the Japanese and Korean style. They most closely resemble Japanese because of their circular cross-section and size but with the metal construction of the Korean chopstick. They are stainless steel tubing which makes them incredibly strong but lightweight. They will never splinter, stain, or acquire a taste. They will take anything a dishwasher can mete out with impunity. They have no pores or grain to trap and hide pathogens. You may need to employ the sandpaper recommended by a previous reviewer if you are a fan of the Vietnamese or Taiwanese style large square cross-section chopstick. These chopsticks grace my table admirably.

Great simple chopsticks with a little modification
The stock photo is not the the right one. The other, non-prime, Joyce Chen chopsticks are correct and you can see what they really look like. I like the fact that they are fully rounded and light. The tips are good, but I made them better. I took a strip of 100 grit sandpaper and sanded the tips. I mainly rotated the chopstick in the sandpaper up to the last grip line. Rotate more than up and down to create a more horizontal finish for better grip. Comes out looking brushed and nice. I think a coarser grit would be even better and provide a more constrasting look, but 100 was all I had at the time.

Good for the Money
For the money, this set of stainless steel chopsticks isn't bad. They are hollow and thus light weight which might be an issue for some people but their construction is flawless and they hold up well under use. Being smooth stainless, they aren't as good at gripping as wooden sticks but unless you're paying more for hardwood-tipped metal models, these are as durable and resistant to flavors as you'll find for cheap.

Not very functional.
Very nice looking but not good for eating with. They get hot and the food is difficult to pick up with them due to there slippery nature. Stick with bamboo for eating.

Functional and sturdy, but a little slippery.
These are pretty good, but not fantastic.Pros:Hollow, so they're lightVery Sturdy stainless steel. I've abused mine already and they stand up.Banded tips, which improve grip on slippery objectsCons:Slippery, even with the banded tips, they may not be best for beginners.Slippery -- why twice? You know how Chinese grease leaks through any bag? Well these can be very difficult to hold with greasy fingers. All in all, for the price, they can't be beat.

Pfft. Would rather use the cheap ones from the local take out!
Just received my stainless chopsticks. All I can say is I would rather use the ones from the local take out! This are light, slippery, and for some reason just hard to use.If you want to see what they look like find the photo for: Joyce Chen Stainless Steel Chopsticks #90-1127The only thing going for these are the ability to clean them, and they will not pick up food flavors. I am heading to the local Asian market to get something better... Oh well a few bux lost on this deal.

Good Chops
I am definitely not an expert on chopsticks, but these work well for me. They are well balanced, not too heavy or too light. These clean up well, and so far I haven't experienced any rusting, denting, or cracking. However, I do not use these everyday, but I make a point of cleaning them and putting them away immediately after use. I would definitely buy these again if needed.
