I didn't tell the seller it was a gift, but they incidentally gift-wrapped the gift in blue- the recipient's favorite color. Win! Also, the Bible was a Easy to Read Translation, had summaries of key Bible verses grouped by themes like healing, financial success, marriage, etc, and a perfect gift. The recipient is a 18-yr young woman starting a Christian faith, and needs a Bible that's easy to understand, and this was the ideal gift to get her started.Thanks for your ministry!

I like being able to read the Bible. It breaks down the chapters to were you can get the full meaning it is a simple explanation and is easy to comprehend.

Very easy to read and understand. I wasn’t sure if I would like the soft cover but it worked out for me. Like reading a paper cover novel. Does have thin pages so if you’re using a pencil be careful. I have bible markers and they do show through some.

Got this for a friend who has trouble understanding the King James Bible. It does help clarify some things and it is a pretty accurate translation. I recommend it.

If you ever wanted to read the Bible from beginning to end like a regular book then you have to purchase this book.Is so easy to understand, once you get into it, it is very intriguing and hard to put down., I love it

You can only access the first page of each bible book from the Contents page. Cannot get to, say, Psalm 40, just to Psalm 1. But you can get round this. You will soon come across a numbered note (e.g. 1) in the Psalms (or any book). Click on this, and you will be taken to the list of notes at the back of Psalms (or any other book) Each note tells you to which Psalm it refers. Click on one of these nearest the Psalm you want, and you will be taken back to that psalm that the note refers to. Not perfect, but much better than flicking through every page until getting to the one you want.There are many notes in the text, explaining many words which those not familiar with the bible may not understand.I found it refreshing to have a different translation to the ones I usually use.

To those who are learning English and want to read the bible to feed your spirit, that is the best version.They use a simple language and maintain the same structure of the Bible, the footnotes help us to understand things that we actually would not know just reading it.I recommend this version.

Easy reading, explained well and was a great start to starting to read the bible in a simplified way, definitely recommended
