In this publication, he solely focuses on how thinking steers our emotions. He claims to cut through the rhetoric and present only valuable and practical insights. Ummm. Ok, I’ll bite. He skims the fat, that’s for sure. He kept my attention. Using ordinary words that appeal to the average person, I found myself asking numerous times, “Is it that simple? How did I miss that?” Because of his uncomplicated insights, the answer was, “Yup.” Our clever author presents relevant quotes from prominent figures in the self-care realm, both in the modern and historical eras. Each quote has a specific focus, where he provides his insights. He sets up this easy-to-follow formula so you can dive into a pristine understanding of complex concepts, giving you room to create a new perspective on life. For example. “Only we humans worry about the future, regret the past, and blame ourselves for the present.” ~ Rick Hanson Shubham breaks down Hanson’s quote. “Recognize when something causes you pain. Recognize how it makes you feel and wait for the pain to go away. Do not aggravate the situation by becoming angry or upset with any other factors or people involved.” I paused to think on that, and am relieved to report yes, the pain does go away. And another pain comes up and that too goes away. I believe in not making things worse. Therefore, following the advice of not aggravating the situation by not getting angry with other factors or people involved is wise. It allows for wholesome solutions to appear. Self-development is not an easy process. I believe it takes a lifetime of commitment. You never know at what phase of your life you’re receptive to receive that ever-welcoming “AH-HA” moment. I do appreciate Shubham K. Singh’s fervent expertise to the inner workings of us humans and then providing a truncated astute read in the sea of self-help books. If you’re in the mood to learn and practice a lesson that you haven’t mastered, give this enthusiastic author a peruse. Very useful book
I like this book, it highlights most important lessons of self development, the quotes used are very useful can serve as mantras or affirmations that can help you remember the lessons. The lessons are Short, sweet straight to the goal.

Transformation
Sometimes there are things we can’t change the only thing we can change is our way of looking at something. This books has some wonderful ways to bring positive transformation in your life. I enjoyed this book.

A great book full of insights!
I was really expecting a modern version of As a Man Thinketh with an Eastern philosophy twist given the title and the cover art. What I got instead was a ton of insights from a lot of modern books 📚 and some classic ideas 💡 that have withstood the test of time. It's very well done and doesn't feel like he is just riffing off from other authors or just summarizig modern ideas as it is very well put together. You can tell the author is a fan of self-help and of putting the best content available together for himself and others. While it does talk about the power of your thoughts, I don't think the title is very accurate for the overall content. It's all great stuff and has a ton of awesome quotes, but I certainly would have enjoyed some quotes from James Allen or Laozi on watching your thoughts and a few chapters on how your thoughts ultimately determine your destiny. But, regardless, it's without a doubt an awesome book that you definitely shouldn't miss out on! It's short, to the point, and full insights without the fluff of drawn out stories or other tactics authors often use to make a book long enough to make their publishers happy.
