The book has been designed very beautifully,the page quality is superb and awesome as well as the language of the book is very simple and easy to understand.The of each chapter has story which attracts the attention of the readers and developes curiosity to dive into the subject matter.

Packaging is not good. Otherwise book is awesome and very informative.

Not just for UPSC aspirants but rather I would recommend this book for anyone who is interested in Indian history. It provides a very detailed fact based and informative account of the history. One thing I like about this book is that it is not inclined towards any particular ideology but rather it presents the facts and the different views of historians regarding those.The packaging and binding of the book could have been better and that is the only reason I am not giving a 5 star.It's a nice book to have with you that you can refer whenever you have curiosity about a certain period of ancient India.
