A Different, Welcom Treat For Breakfast
LIngionberries aren't widely known in North America but that doesn't make them excellent eating. They are also good on waffles, pancakes etc. Too many products such as this are too sweet but not these. They have that pleasant after taste of the best citrus fruit, think a Key Lime Pie. Also, as a benefit, the colour isn't the too routine red. I like them.

Lingonberry pancakes not fair she gives up the big toe
Haven't tried it yet took forever to get so it's got to be good. Plus it's from Europe which is sadly going downhill faster than your grandma on ice...

Not too sweet! Love it on just about everything!
LOVE THIS Lingonberry sauce. I am hooked .Have been for over a year, since 2024, when I first found it in my local Food CoOp Artisan/ Foreign Food section. It goes on my morning toast as jam, put some on my roast chicken - why wait for thanksgiving ! Has taken the place of cranberry sauce. It is the only thing i use for jam and tart sauce. Love this!

pretty good
This is actually my first time trying lingonberries, so I don't have much to compare it to. I'll say, this brand is pretty tasty and I would purchase it again.

Much much better than Sanniti brand. Fresh, full of lingonberry flavor.
I had ordered the Sanniti brand of lingonberries, and after having had lingonberry jam in Norway, was totally disappointed - just a vague, general berry taste, and sugar. So I went hunting for the real thing, and tried Darbo, which is made in Austria. It's the real thing. Zesty, fresh clean lingonberry taste, just as I remembered it. There is really no comparison. If you want lingonberries, get Darbo. If you just want red jam with some. kind of berries in it, get Sanniti from Sweden. I don't know about these days, but in the past, Sweden was notorious for putting sugar in everything, including mustard and sausage. Darbo would be wonderful on a muffin, or in a muffin.
