Just started using it and it feels good on my scalp. It’s not very heavy so I can leave it in longer and it washed out easily. Made my scalp feel good. Will take a while to see the results but so far so good. I like that all three ingredients are organic so I know it’s a super clean formula. Also I know it has a lot of rosemary, which I like to use on my scalp and hair, because there are literally only 3 ingredients and it smells really good — like fresh rosemary. Update: I’ve now been using this oil twice a week (sometimes more) for over a month and I love it! I either use it at night before bed or an hour or two before I shampoo. Sometimes I’ll even work a few drops in after I wash my hair — I can’t use too much because my hair is thin. I use a scalp brush to really work it in and my scalp feels so good. Plus it smells like a spa treatment. I’m definitely less itchy and flakey and my hair is really soft and shiny now. I’m so glad I found this product. The formula is definitely a lot cleaner than some other options. It’s just rosemary, macadamia and jojoba oils, and they’re all organic which is important to me.

Yes, it does smell smoky and probably if I used it by itself, it would smell like I spent the day in the smoking section of a casino, but I use the leave-in, cream, oil method on my wash days so the leave-in ( like Mane Choice Tropical Moringa or Curls Blueberry Bliss) as well as the cream (like Cream if Nature Moisture and Shine Curl Activator Creme) all smell pleasant which masks the smokiness plus.I only use a little to seal my other products in. The main thing is the results. Like a lot of people, I am using this time in quarantine to glow up. So, I've been wearing protective, yet cute flat twists. When I started my hair journey, I already had grown my hair out some but I was soooo lazy about taking care of it. On wash days, I was pulling out handfuls of hair. Once I started taking care of my hair and adding thus black castor oil to my LCO lineup, my hair took off. My hair was just below my bra band. As of yesterday, the longest part is approaching the top of my waist. For those of you who are black with textured hair, I would guess my natural hair is probably 4A, 4B, and 3C in parts. I am not great with that hair typing system y'all. I look at one natural hair influencer's videos who says she is one hair type and I say that's me. Then I look at another who says she is a different type and her hair looks like mine too. I will say that I am transitioning out of a texturizer so I can only judge my roots. I only know that my hair is high porosity and loves moisture. This stuff does wonders for holding moisture in natural and chemically treated hair.

Clean Ingredients!!!

Earlier while buying this I was bit hesitant as I was about to use it for my kids too. So I consulted our pediatrician and showed her the ingredients, she said its perfectly fine to use for my 10+ years old kids but do not use for toddlers. I have been using it since 2 months now and amazed to see that hair fall has stopped a bit. Too early to say if its helping in any hair growth but I will keep observing and can update this review after 2months if I see any hair growth too. My daughter also likes the smell so much

Wow. This hair oil smells amazing. As you would expect it is oily, given it is oil :-). I use it on my scalp the night before I wash my hair and it has made a huge difference in the texture of my hair. Instead of feeling dry and brittle, it has become soft and supple. I haven’t used it for long enough yet to say if it has improved some areas of thinning. But just for the improvement in my hair health it is been worth the buy.
