Arrived SUPER fast, and was very much as it was advertised. I really can't believe that they can put a quality guitar kit together for a little more than it would cost me to just buy the wood. Yes, the body is made up of three pieces of miss matched mahogany so a natural finish is out of the question. This guitar body is paint grade ready when it arrives. The neck is great, the frets are in very well. There are no gaps between the bottom of the fret and the neck, and they are well dressed. I did have to file a couple of frets down, so just a minor fret level job. Everything works great, but I will be changing out the pickups for a much higher quality pair. There is nothing wrong with the stock ones but they are a little shrill for my taste. All in all this is a GREAT kit at AMAZING price.

Not bad quality for a kit. Bought it as I was bored out my skull and at a loose end, assembles well, pretty simple. Took it to pieces again and sprayed it dark blue, looks professional.

well....so far I have found a Crowned neck... so that will have to be adjusted. I have found 5 frets are to high. I will have to address that. I am so glad I bought the Fret tool kit off amazon. It has the straight edge and all the tools to repair the frets. this guitar would have sounded terrible...... but its a kit....this kind of thing is expected. the" neck to body fit "is a littler looser than I like, but the 4 screws will keep it solidly in place. I will leave more up dates as I go. so far so good,..nothing I cant handle. happy so far. having fun. UP DATE- well got it all together and it plays and sounds not bad. the Neck didnt need shimming, thats good. I was able to get the neck curve barley out "had to adjust the truss rod to the bitter end, " but I got it straight" . Found out I had 7 high frets LOL....boy, that took some time and effort. "but got them all level. One of the Tuners had" messed up threads" and had to put another one from the music store. the intonation was slow and painful. I had to cut the nut slots, the string were way high. It plays sorta good, sounds not to bad. I'm happy with my Guitar build. I 'm learning as I go. I had fun !!! well worth the Price I think. UPDATE- I found the pickups are all way to low. I had very muted sound. so I turned the screws on the pickups "raised them to full height" then worked down 3 turns. "sounds MUCH better" The guitar wouldn't stay in tune, so I ordered "locking tuners off amazon. I put new strings on and set them low to the fret board. Now I have a real rock N roll machine. I have nice bright sound and easy playing. wow what a difference !! Its been an interesting journey and I have learned SO much. this guitar kit is a fantastic learning tool. This guitar can be made good, with some time and effort ,and new strings and tuners. sounds just as good as my Squier Affinity .

Well packed, looks to be great quality wood and parts. I have yet to put it together but the manual is great and it seems an easy project.

Kit is fine, wood body is super porous, needs to be filled. Neck is nice, fret inlays are not pearlescent as per description they are black. Bridge is unusable, pre drilled holes for the bridge posts are too big and the slide out…. Neck holes on body need to be drilled out to 5mm to fit screws provided. Tuners are barely usable. Wiring is simple with the plugs but makes it a bit more difficult to swap things out. One of the pots is really gritty when spinning one of them is bent. Neck pocket fits well knobs are actually pretty solid, the switch is a bit wobbly side to side.
