This 11-inch folding saw was a great buy for $15, however the manufacturer crossed the line when they recently switched to a black PLASTIC hinge pin, which is definitely the weak link, for this otherwise nice tool. I suspect that they saved less than 10-cents, switching from the silver metal hinge pin screw to the current black plastic hinge pin. It is a special size threaded plastic pin, thus will be difficult to replace when it breaks. The saw does cut branches up to roughly 3-inches in diameter nicely. I suspect it will be challenging to sharpen, but my guess is that the plastic hinge pin will break before it needs sharpening. I found it easier to purchase a total of three of these, instead of sharpening any of them yet. I try to carry one hiking locally, since I am one of the volunteers keeping the Land Trust trails cleared. So far, I only cut two limbs with the plastic hinge pin version. Will try to update this review in 6-months.

Recently bought this handheld saw to trim an unruly lilac bush. This did the job super well! I am very impressed! Sawed through limbs that were 3.5” in diameter. VERY sharp, so be careful, but excellent tool and would recommend it to anybody looking to trim some trees and large shrubs.

The blade system is sharp and cuts thick branches and tree limbs with ease. I've cut large portions of moderately thick trees with ease. I've used it on the ground and from high vantage points. The item is durable and good value for the money.

This tool is amazing!! I am a girl with no arm strength lol and this tool was very easy to use on branches come down with so quick with just using one hand !! Love it

I got this little saw for making kindling for small fires. We have a small, tabletop fire pit in our backyard, and it is perfect for cutting up sticks that are too big to be snapped by hand. It is small and portable enough that we have been able to take it overnight camping with us as well which is a plus!

This product at first glance as a bit flimsy around the handle and the saw. It was however quite a sturdy joint once the blade was locked.It does a great job and is very useful for trimming small branches on trees.
