I have used this as a Bo Ssam sauce and it is wonderful! And it's Gluten free!

I recently tried the dipping sauce at a Korean barbecue restaurant and enjoyed it so much that I went on a search for it and ended up buying this product. It's fantastic for grilling pork belly and dipping it just like you would at a Korean restaurant. For a simpler way, dip cucumber or carrot sticks in ssamjang for a really easy and delicious afternoon snack. I could eat this every day.

I tried this because I heard it goes really well with other dishes. I tried it and it was wonderful! It goes so well with meat. Very savory and flavorful and I believe that it will satisfy many people. Its basically ranch on salad. Its also says in the nutrition fact that it is healthy as well. Highly recommended.

It pretty much tastes like the ssamjang my mom whipped up at home. With this sauce, you can bring that Korean pork belly barbecue vibe right to your own kitchen.

This Ssamjang sauce is strong, with a much more pronounced umami flavor compared to my usual Korean brand. I've tried the sauce, and one of the ingredients, fish sauce, is just too overpowering for me. I find that the sauce works best in soups.I have used this Ssamjang in doenjang jjigae, which is Korean soybean paste stew. In this dish, the sauce is delicious and really elevates the flavor. When used for cooking, the fish sauce flavor pretty much disappears when mixed in with the other ingredients.Overall, the Ssamjang sauce tastes very premium, but it does come with a premium price tag. The Ssamjang from my local Korean supermarket can make my soup just as good.

First time I ordered I received the Gochugang even though I ordered the Ssamyang. Can’t return so ordered again and got the right one but the glass jar is completely shattered. I’m just going to give up and look for another brand to see if I have better luck. Shame because I was very excited to try it.

Tastes fantastic. This product is the only one on this site I found to have authentic ingredients and you can taste it.

This is a really nice addition to Korean bbq and it is a nice dipping sauce. Great value for money here. The quality is nice and fresh. Very versatile sauce
