I had no problems with this. The package itself arrived 10 days before the latest day it was supposed to arrive. So not early, but very much on time. As for the contents: I received 20 snacks as promised. I noticed people complaining about the lack of variety, and it's true that there are repeats of the same type of snack, but they are all different flavors. I got 5 types of umaibo (corn stick) , 4 types of fish jerky, 3 marshmallowy filled-type candies, a chicken flavored crisps packet, a corn (pellet?) package, a package of Dondon yaki, a gum that turns your mouth red, a snack covered in (I think) black honey, another crunchy thing that could be chocolate flavored, a dried pickled plum, and a small package of konpeito. There was one snack that looked like a burnt log, and I thought it had somehow gone bad. HOWEVER! It was actually a molasses-covered snack. the sugar made a crispy shell on the surface, but the inside was a pure white puffed snack. It ended up being my favorite thing in the box. I will say that if you're vegetarian, your options are limited. Eight out of twenty of these snacks contain fish/pork or are fish/pork flavored. TLDR: Everything is here, it all tastes good, and is worth the purchase.

I sent this to my daughters dorm as a surprise package/gift. It was a fun box to receive rather than the typical care packages I normally send contains Pringle’s and candy she could find at grocery stores etc. While she thought a few items tasted horrible she highly enjoyed the gift! She sat with her friends in their dorm tasting each item and they loved how fun and different it was. They spent a long time tasting, laughing and enjoying the experience of new snack foods. I plan on sending this to other college students I know during finals week to give them a fun little pick me up :)

4 star because not what is pictured, HOWVER I will buy again because the random assortment of hard and gummy candy was quite pleasant and there is a good amount for the price. It's nice for at work when I want some flavor but not a meal.

Its a scam simply..20 pieces of candy. Nothing that is advertised in the picture slides. The reason I ordered was because of the Dagashi Umaibou puffed corn and it contained not one. Just an assortment of one piece candies mostly Hi-chews and Pachaos that you can purchase just about anywhere. About a third of the candy seemed stale. Nothing unique. Pick a different candy box and save yourself the disappointment. It was shipped quickly that was the only great thing about this

Pretty interesting box of goodies. Would be better if there were pictures of individual items with English translations inside the box, but I found a literal translation on the Amazon website underneath the section of items that were delivered to me. So my family took chances and tried the lot. Most weren’t too bad but one or two tasted a bit nasty to us. All in all a good laugh and gave us some interesting insight on what is considered snack/candy items in Asian countries. If you have family members who love to watch anime then definitely buy this box of goodies (or any such similar boxed treats) and have an anime movie night with these snacks! It won’t be boring that’s for sure!

I did receive the bag in good condition with the correct amount of 'snacks.' However, the items inside were much smaller than expected and did not match those shown in the picture. I was quite disappointed.

The snacks themselves were fine, and some I might buy again individually. But most of the snacks in the bag were repeats, or just not very unique. For example, there's one that's just a marshmallow with a chocolate filling. Novel idea, but there were 3 in the bag. The bag contained 20 pieces as advertised, but there were 3 of those marshmallows, and they were rather small. Aside from that and a few other sweets, most of the snacks were just different varieties of "extremely salty." Not a lot of nuance in flavor, just sodium. These snacks are fine by themselves, sometimes I want a salty snack, but if you're looking for strange and unique tastes, I would suggest looking at another item.
