Amazing.
Tastes Amazing. Left it to dry like the "About This Product" says to. I use it in a grinder like it recommends, and it works perfectly. Comes out like a fine power texture and melts into warm food. Easy to use for cooking when in a grinder, or on top of food as decoration i.e salted caramel. I love it. I feel better from eating with it, thanks to the minerals and electrolytes. Great value for money, large size bag in comparison to others the same price.

Tasty, Moist Salt with a Mineral Kick – A Bit of a Treat for the Kitchen
First off, the appearance and texture are quite different from your standard white table salt or even most sea salts. These light grey Celtic salt crystals are noticeably moist and a bit chunky, though not uniformly so. This is typical for hand-harvested, unrefined Celtic salt, as it retains some of its natural moisture and isn't processed to be bone dry and free-flowing like common table salt. In terms of flavour, it definitely has a more complex, slightly briny, and minerally taste than refined salt. It's a "softer" saltiness, if that makes sense, without the harsh chemical bite you can sometimes get from highly processed salts. I've found it really pleasant both in cooking – where it dissolves well enough – and especially as a finishing salt, where the slight crunch and nuanced flavour can really elevate a dish. The "rich in 82+ essential minerals" claim is a common one for Celtic salt. While I can't exactly verify that in my kitchen, it's generally understood that unrefined sea salts do retain more trace minerals than their refined counterparts. Whether these amounts make a significant dietary impact is a broader discussion, but the flavour profile certainly suggests there's more going on than just sodium chloride. The "100% Organic" label for salt is a bit of a marketing quirk, as salt is a mineral and can't be organic in the agricultural sense, but I take it to mean it's natural and unprocessed. Pros: Distinctive Flavour Profile: Offers a more complex, nuanced, and less harsh salty taste compared to regular table salt. Great as a finishing salt. Moist, Natural Texture: The slightly damp, irregular crystals are characteristic of good quality, unrefined Celtic salt. Retains Trace Minerals: Being unrefined and hand-harvested, it's likely richer in trace minerals than processed salts, which contributes to its flavour. Versatile in the Kitchen: Good for both cooking (dissolves well enough) and for sprinkling on dishes just before serving. Attractive Appearance: The light grey colour and crystal structure look appealing. Good Sized Bag (600g): Should last a decent while for home use, even if using it regularly. Cons: Higher Price Point: Speciality salts like this naturally come at a premium compared to standard table salt here in the UK. Can Clump Due to Moisture: Because it's unrefined and retains moisture, it can be prone to clumping, especially in a humid UK kitchen. You might need to break it up a bit or store it carefully. Not ideal for fine-holed salt shakers; better in a salt pig or small dish. Inconsistent Crystal Size: Being hand-harvested, the crystal size isn't perfectly uniform, which is natural but might not suit everyone's preference if they want very even sprinkling. "Organic" Claim is Misleading for Salt: While it implies natural and unprocessed, salt itself is an inorganic mineral. "82+ Minerals" Health Benefits – Take with a Pinch of Salt (Pun Intended!): While it does contain more minerals, the actual health impact of these trace amounts is debatable and shouldn't be the sole reason for purchase over a balanced diet. Overall: This Pure Flourish Celtic Salt is a lovely product for those in the UK who appreciate a more natural, flavourful, and unrefined salt in their cooking. Its moist texture and distinct mineral taste make it a noticeable step up from your everyday table salt, especially when used as a finishing touch. It's a bit of an investment compared to basic salt, and you need to be aware of its tendency to clump due to the natural moisture content. However, if you enjoy experimenting with quality ingredients and appreciate the nuanced flavours that different salts can bring to your food, this hand-harvested light grey Celtic salt from France is definitely worth trying. It’s certainly added a nice touch to my kitchen creations.

Exceptionally Pure and Mineral-Rich – A Must-Have Pantry Staple
✅ Genuine Quality & Purity This Celtic salt is exactly what it claims to be: hand-harvested, unrefined, and mineral-rich. The crystals are light grey, slightly moist (as expected from authentic Celtic salt), and have a clean, earthy aroma that sets them apart from typical table or sea salts. ✅ Mineral Content With over 82 trace minerals, including magnesium, potassium, and calcium, it’s not just seasoning—it’s nutrition. I’ve been using it in place of Himalayan and sea salt and can genuinely taste the difference in depth and roundness, especially in broths, eggs, and roasted vegetables. ✅ Texture & Versatility The slightly coarse grain makes it perfect for grinders, finishing dishes, or even brining. You can crush it easily with a mortar and pestle for finer use, or dissolve it into hot water for a natural mineral electrolyte drink. ✅ Sourcing & Ethical Value This brand clearly emphasizes sustainable harvesting from coastal salt flats in France, aligning with eco-conscious and traditional production methods. There’s no bleaching, no anti-caking agents, and no processing, which is exactly what clean eating requires. ✅ Packaging The 600g pouch is resealable and moisture-protective, helping keep the salt in perfect condition despite its naturally damp texture. Zero clumping issues.
