Works great and easy to clean, even if it seems a bit cheap to begin with

The coating comes off after a while

We have had our Westmark garlic press for 30 years or more - so a tick in the box for durability! It’s an ideal kitchen tool for the purpose.

Nice looking sturdy item, although the coating is peeling off a bit after regular use.

The garlic press works well. However, whilst the product description says ”die-cast aluminium with special food-safe coating” and that it is “dishwasher proof”. It will eventually flake off and no-one wants that stuff in their dinner. I give it 2 stars because it has taken a few years for this to happen. But if the item was made well, it would have lasted significantly longer.

Good product, just don't overload it.

È lo spremiagli io più leggero e con i fori più piccoli, sul mercato, perciò esce una purea di aglio perfetta, e la pelle esterna rimane tutta dentro. Sarebbe perfetto se disponesse anche del rettangolo di spillini per poi liberare i fori intasati respingendo verso l’interno l’aglio rimasto nel vano, quando è ora di pulirlo.

Remplace une ancienne version qui perdait son revêtement "teflon". L'empreinte du fondeur sur un bras du manche n'est pas toute à fait la même que l'ancien (vieux de 15 ans environ) sinon c'est exactement le même objet. Très pratique, léger et ne prend que peu de place dans le tiroir, contrairement à tous ses concurrents. Dommage que le problème du produit de surfaçage de l'aluminium ne soit (ou ne semble ?) pas résolu.
