First, this product doesn’t work that well. It is good to trim the back neckline in a straight line. Other than that it really isn’t useful beyond that. Unfortunately, it is not worth the money. I wish I returned this in time, but completely forgot.My husband states that it is “clumsy to use” and the fit is not comfortable. He also mentioned that it may remain durable if it is used for personal use only.

Works pretty well. I’d say it definitely help me set the line for my mid drop fade. I used it until I got to the next line but after it gets closer to the top of your head it not as useful. Definitely still recommend getting a 3 way mirror to make sure the band is aligned properly before you end up with a really bad haircut. Definitely recommend for beginners.

Not worth $25!The ratchet up feature is a gimmick that is too clunky to make use of. I could not get a clean cut from it. The band is somewhat useful but because of the slide connection on the band, it makes it difficult to get a good cut. I would have been better off getting just a simple band.Do not buy this product! You will be disappointed. I’m still searching for something better for self haircuts.

I cut my own hair now, so this item is excellent to make sure I stay in line when I cut my hair.

Surprisingly… IT WORKS… especially for what it is. I have bad neck hair that grows in very quickly and has become a hassle to maintain. I have a “storks bite” that never went away as a baby in which the hair grows down it in a triangle formation within a week of getting a haircut. I have tried cleaning it up myself with multiple disaster cases which is what prompted trying this product. Just strap it on your forehead, move the guide up/down, take a few behind the back photos that it’s the right height and start trimming. I do recommend putting pressure on the guide so it’s flush against the skin while doing it. My first time using this product and it did what it was supposed to do. No more worries if I can’t make it to the barber for another few days/weeks.
