Venom 1-6x24 Second Focal Plane Riflescope

I recently mounted the Vortex Venom 1-6x24 on my AR-15, and it has exceeded my expectations. The clarity of the glass is outstanding, providing a bright and sharp image across the entire magnification range. This is the best option for the price by far. It is extremely impressive build quality, the reliability and the clarity of the glass when shooting is really good. Second focal plane seems to be a better option for targets within 200 yards. It has the ability to reach up to 500 yards with ease. If you are hunting over for 500 yards a first focal plane may be a better option for you. Hands down the vortex Venom is the best option available out of all the second focal plane scopes I've reviewed. Especially for home defense or hunting at distances within 200 or even 300 yards. If you find this on sale for under $300 it will be an excellent option to add to your collection. I highly recommend!

The product is awesome, but it has a slight scratch on the body, nothing major. It is great.

Vortex Optics Venom 1-6x24 Second Focal Plane Riflescope: On a 6.5 Grendel 18" upper, 300yrd and in, hog/white tail TX hunting set up.Clear glass, turret have positive clicks. Tracks good... Little heavy but not bad. Bright for 24mm. Nothing bad to say, not at this price (on sale - 224). It seems well built but if I have a problem with durability, I will modify the rating. So far, it's reliable and it works well.

Very good budget optic at time of purchase - price has increased. Scope has clear glass & easy-to-see bright reticle image, easy adjustment and it includes an unlimited, unconditional, lifetime Warranty!

Very nice for the price. Turrets are decent. Reticle is nice. Just wish it came with a throw lever like the strike eagle.
