This lumbar support works just a well as my original one did but that one sadly wore out after about 6 years of use. It's hard to say if this one will last 6 years but it absolutely seems to be going strong after a week. Only downside so far is it's a little easier to move up and down on the supports than the old one. So it's possible to "wiggle" it out of place. So far it keeps me comfortable for 12+ hours a day in my Aeron.

I will admit that I was hesitant to order after reading some of the reviews, but after seeing some of the reviews on the OEM replacement that complained about the same things, I figured for half the price, why not give this one a try. So far it's a perfect replacement at half the price of the OEM part. Looks and feels exactly the same, was easy to install, and my chair is back to original condition. Crossing fingers that it stands up to the test of time. :-)

I purchased this product because it was an affordable replacement option for my Herman Miller Aeron (B) lumbar support. Upon taking it out of the box I noticed it was very hard and stiff. The original that came with my chair was much more flexible and squishy to the touch. I decided to give it a try and install it on the chair. It was difficult to slide onto the rails on the back of the chair and 2 of the teeth broke off upon a very gentle installation. Upon sitting in the chair the I discovered that the lumbar support protrudes into the mesh fabric of the chair at a very uncomfortable angle and I almost immediately installed my old broken one back onto the chair. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for and this was a cheap replacement for an expensive product. If the manufacturer modified the design slightly for a better fight and changed the material this would be a great cost effective replacement, however, in it's current state and design I will promptly be returning it.

Just finished installing this. Fit just fine and its really nice to have the lumbar support back. Now to see how long it lasts. some feedback on the connecting guides breaking has me a bit worried but I'll see how it goes. One notable thing is that local temperatures are around 70 f right now. The part stayed in the mailbox overnight but there were no issues with it on opening.

Bought for Herman Miller Aeron chair. Chair did not have one. First one broke upon installation (attachment rings failed) replaced within a week, installed and works as intended. A little firm, perhaps will break in a little? Customer support was excellent.

So far, so good. I didn't know what to expect with the mixture of reviews, but it was less than $25 and I thought I would take a chance. It went on with none of the attachment tines cracking. Will see how long it holds up, but for the price I paid, I am not complaining.
