great picture quality; low frame rate at 4k so I run at 5MP for 30fps
Overall, this is a very good quality security camera. I didn't have any issues setting it up to work with my system. It is capable of 4K, but the frame rate is much lower which in my opinion is not worth using. If you run this at 5MP, you can run at 30fps which is double as fast and really makes a difference when it comes to capturing motion. The stand out feature of the camera is the optical zoom. Even though this is not PTZ, the zoom is really nice to have. Night vision is surprisingly good. Overall, I've been very happy with this poe camera.

Cumbersome User Interface
The media could not be loaded. I evaluated the GW Security 4K IP security camera, which operates via PoE and is capable of streaming feeds.Accessing the camera through the web portal was straightforward, allowing me to update the default password and adjust the network and camera settings with ease. The video quality is impressive, delivering 15 frames per second in 4K resolution. However, I removed a star from my rating due to the inadequate user manual. The absence of a mobile app is a notable drawback, and there are superior 4K IP cameras available in the market. Despite these issues, it remains a reliable camera that fulfills its purpose.

Could not access camera on network
I usually stick with established manufacturers which I know will easily work with the Blue Iris software which runs on the PC I use as an NVR. I occasionally try other cameras if they offer interesting features, such as the motorized optical zoom featured on this GW Security 4K camera. I can almost always get IP cameras to work, although it may take time to access the camera interface, and IP adresses may need to be modified to fit my POE router. Suffice to say, I stubbornly spent almost 4 hours trying multiple workarounds from the extremely rudimentary GW Security instruction paragraphs , and the alleged IP adress provided was not found. Using multiple approaches to mapping my network provided 2 additional IP adresses for this camera, neither of which were functional. Just in case the camera was using a HEVC or H.265 codec which was not on my system, I added and updated the video decoders. After all of this, I was unable to penetrate the Great Wall Security camera. Unless you already have a great wall NVR, don't waste your time with this camera

True optical zoom capability
Super-high 4k resolution paired with an optical zoom. Great to add zoom without messing with pan and tilt. PoE means no separate power wiring. Recommended.
