I recently purchased the AI Sports Gimbal Kit, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance! Why did you pick this product vs others?:App updated, now does not work, old videos lost. Device worked ok sometimes, I was recording a Basketball game and it was moving back and forth like it couldn't find the ball or something. I decided to update the app and it never did work again. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and it still would not work. When I Uninstaller it all of the previous videos were deleted because it doesn't save them in a normal folder. I would avoid this product.

Works well, but takes up ALOT of storage

We bought this for our son to use to make his YouTube videos. I read some of the reviews from other users about it not tracking well with fast movement, but I can't say much about that as my son uses it for nothing with fast action. He loves it and uses it all the time. Would highly recommend this product.

Used the gimbal with the AI auto tracking at an AAU Basketball tournament for 4 games. 1st game I allowed the gimbal to track entire game while using the monitor feature to add in the score. The auto tracking feature did not keep up with any game even after I made some adjustments to XbotGo pan angle and pan speed. Game two I used the remote and it lagged. Game three i used the monitor feature to control the gimbal and it lagged and did not follow. The last game I turned off the auto tracking. I noticed when I was watching the videos after I recorded and exported, the fps (frames per second) were at 3.6 fps when it should have recorded in 30 fps. The video is really jittery and unusable. I used a iPhone 13 with fully updated IOS. The only feature I actually liked was the score bug option. You can add the score bug into the recording with the team names just like in live sporting events on TV.

I don't think this is at the level it needs to be yet. I have been using it for HS soccer hopeful to capture every touch video's for my son's recruiting journey and it's just not there yet. It's hard to imagine a place where you can place this on the centerline close to the field with HS kids and not expect it to get destroyed. From a distance it does okay but a ball boy, if anyone is in the stands in front of you, it picks up on those from time to time. It also only zooms to 3x which is not great for my needs. I missed the return date by 1 day trying very hard to get it to do what I wanted. It's nice, it has potential, the fact that videos and images are stored on their app cloud is great but I constantly had to monitor and manually control it when it did not respond to movement on the field. Many times over compensating and missing the action I seek out. On a full field from any distance the follow me feature does not work to track individual players. It constantly concentrates on different players than the one you want to follow. During free kicks or goal kicks it constantly moves back and forth appearing confused as some players stand still or some move without a pattern like true game motion offers the AI. I will try to use it without the tracking feature but in all honesty you can buy a cheaper option that allows you to use your phone recording and much better zoom features. I do really enjoy the fact that you can live broadcast from it with a scoreboard feature (need another device to control that) but without being able to set it and forget it, those watching might see the back of some person's head in the stands for 10 min.....Or they may watch the ball boy running back and forth missing all the real action.....I wanted this to work so badly so I wasn't forced to hold a device or control a devices through the entire game.....Maybe as the AI gets better and the app see's updates it's functionality will improve, only time will tell. Given I missed the return window I will find a use for it within our family but it feel short of what I personally needed.

Such an awesome thing for your sports child! My kid is in football and basketball and this has been great in recording full games and practices to watch “film” and get better.It is company and small enough to fit in his bag and easy for him to set up. It comes with a nice carry bag to keep it all safe. There is a remote that you can use and also use the handheld feature without setting as tripod.Highly recommend for those that have sports kids looking to get into film watching!
