Handmade Interiors: Make Your Own Cushions, Blinds and Other Soft Furnishings

This book looks great but is totally useless if you want to learn how to make any home furnishings.I have used this for several Home Furnishings courses now and EVERY time we do one of the projects there are key items missed of the list of items required and/or the instructions are incomplete.For example, if you are trying to make contemporary ring top curtains, it doesn't mention anywhere in the instructions how to finish the top of the curtains.As an experienced sewer, I found the way the book is written confusing and lacking in the correct details.If you want a coffee table book - great. If not, don't buy this book.

I've had this book for several years and was trying to find one for a gift. Happy to say you had it in stock where bookshops drew a blank.

Very easy instruction. Bought as I have a project lamp shade to up cycle. This book is just the help I needed. Recommend this book.

Beautiful hardback book, seems to have lots of detailed photos for the projects. From Bed Headboards to curtains. It's a thick book with just over 300 pages. Not used it yet but hope to recover a couple of dining chairs. The paper is excellent quality and has good colour photos throughout.. Really pleased I got it. Can't wait to get the sewing machine out!

Clear and concise book. Easy to understand. Good overall projects for beginners. Would recommend if you want to start sewing and not sure how to start.

Lovely book, with exciting projects. Techniques explained are well explained and transferable to other areas. Very pleased with it.
