I recently gifted this table-sized light-up globe to a friend, and it has quickly become the centerpiece of his room. The size is just perfect, striking a balance between functionality and aesthetics. Not only does it serve as a stunning decorative piece during the day, but it also doubles as a soothing nightlight, casting a gentle glow that adds warmth to any space. The craftsmanship is impeccable, with intricate details that captivate the eye and spark curiosity about the world. My friend has expressed nothing but admiration for this globe, praising its versatility and charm. It's clear that this globe is more than just a decorative item – it's a source of inspiration and wonder. If you're searching for a unique and practical gift that will be cherished for years to come, look no further than this exquisite light-up globe. Highly recommended!

Great quality and pretty
Got it for my geog uni courses just to make it fun for myself. I literally run to this thing while I'm listening to lectures. My only complaint is that I have bad eyes so I really have to use the magnification or a flashlight for reading stuff on it. The light feature is just such a plus as I love thus kind of thing. The weight screams good quality and it's not a flimsy thing. Best part is I plan to use this on my desk once I'm finished with my teaching cert bc I think it will be an awesome tool for middle schoolers to mess around with

Great lamp, perfect color hue, and smart plug a friendly.
The globe itself is detailed, and for me, the perfect size. I use it in my bedroom when I want some light but not a lot of light. It puts off a nice warm hue that’s very comforting. For those of you that want to hook this up to a smart plug, it does have a mechanical switch, meaning you can keep it in the on position or the off position. So if you want to hook it up to a smart plug, you can easily do that. Recommended.

not the best, but decent for price
i don't like that it doesn't come with a USB adapter, or why it didn't just come with a normal power cord? there is also a very slight misalignment with the top and bottom half of the globe so there is a very tiny peak into the inside of the item via the transparent tape holding these halves together. not a big deal breaker, i would say for the price, it's decent enough for the gimmick of a glowing globe, though could be better for sure.

Great Night Light Too
Really like this globe. I use it as a night light in the living room, or when I don't want full lighting. It's not a huge globe - so not exceptionally detailed - but good enough to familiarize someone with continents, countries, oceans, etc.I like the antique look and the push button light switch on the cord is perfect easy-on/easy-off.

Circuit Board Crapped Out in 6 Months
I bought this globe over the summer as a nightlight for my baby's room, but didn't actually plug it in until around Christmas when the baby moved from my room to the nursery. It looked very nice with the decor and gave off enough light that I could go into the room for a diaper change or feeding without turning anything else on and off, but wasn't so bright that it was keeping the baby awake. I used it every night from about 7pm to 6am. Then at the end of May (less than 6 months later) it started flickering. First it would turn on fine and then start flickering a little after 10 minutes or so (I would notice it when I was nursing at bedtime and at first I thought I was imagining it) but it kept getting worse and after a few days it was just flickering nonstop as soon as I clicked it on, almost like a strobe light. My husband opened it up and said the circuit board that drives the LEDs went bad. I didn't expect this thing to last 10 years but I think it dying after only 6 months of nightly use is ridiculous. If it didn't die it would be 5 stars.

Smaller than expected but nicer
I like that the light is whiter than the one on the listing

A little greenish light but okay.
It is okay. The led lights inside the globe are kind of yellowish green. So not the best color. And the connection on the two hemisphere on the equator has a night light leak. Looks odd. Aside from that it is okay.
